This is the first time we have not stayed in a cabin. The Bigfoot Bungalow cottage was the perfect place...we may never stay in a cabin again! It was super close to the parkway with NONE of the noise. The online pictures don't show the space of this place. It was very roomy. Some of our favorite things about the cottage include comfy beds, aaaaaamazing internet speed (if you need to work on your vacation this cottage has the best service in town!!), and large rooms. The cottage has lamps that double as a nightlight in the bedrooms. These were perfect,and we appreciated the special touch in having them. The house has five rooms with FOUR TVs! We never turned any of them on so unsure of service(s) provided. The property backs up to a wooded creek area. During our stay the leaves provided privacy from property on the other side of creek. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch. The porch has a very comfy looking hot tub. Another thing we didn't use during our week stay, but looking forward to next time.
