This cottage is beautifully decorated and has great rental rates throughout the year. This cabin features a fully furnished kitchen that includes a dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, refrigerator and coffee maker. The living room comes with leather furniture including a sleeper sofa, and a tiled seasonal gas log fireplace. This cottage has two bathrooms and two bedrooms, one bedroom with a king size bed and one with a queen size bed. There is also a back deck that has tables and chairs where you can sit take in the sights and sounds of the Little Pigeon River. If you are looking for a vacation rental that is close to everything that the Smoky Mountain area has to offer for a great price, look no further because Henderson’s Riverside is the place you have been looking for. 2 Car Parking. While the property offered good Wi-Fi and a convenient parking space, these were among the very few positives of the stay. The condition of the home was unacceptable. The bed sheets had dark red stains that were deeply unsettling, and the fans were covered in a thick layer of dust, making the air feel unclean. The walls were dirty and clearly hadn’t been maintained in years, contributing to an overall feeling of neglect. The bathroom was no better, with moldy shower curtains that made using the shower uncomfortable. The entire home felt outdated, with furniture and fixtures that seemed decades old and in dire need of replacement. While the Wi-Fi was reliable and the parking space was sufficient, these amenities could not compensate for the poor cleanliness and lack of upkeep. I would not recommend this rental unless significant improvements are made. There were even a few dirty handprints all over the bathroom wall. I hate leaving negative reviews but I wish I had realized this before booking.
