Nice room, the service at breakfast very good. There was some construction going on that when finished will the hotel nicer.

Wasn’t quite as luxurious as the pictures led you to believe, all the same, comfortable and good value. Breakfast could do with improvement but adequate. WiFi useless in rooms ok in lobby (just).

Not a good choice
I tried several times to change this booking and contacted hotel. Com’s to see if they could offer help with no reply. I was sick and unable to board my flight in Indonesia to Italy. I’m handicapped and not rich. Hotels.com once again proved again they are not to be trusted for travel- like at all . Can’t wait to get better and contact the Americans with disabilities

First let me tell you that the hotel is under some refurbishment, it is an old style hotel but maybe later it gets better. Nevertheless there are things that are just too bad to want to repeat a night there. The room isolation is just horrible, Every night I could hear the tv in the other rooms. Shower is minuscule, near the desk there is no electric plug, desk chair is just horrible. A/C is noisy. I do not know how it gets 4 stars. Positive things:best gymn I have ever found in hotel including swimming pool. Nice pizzeria also in the hotel building.

Larger hotel outside Bologna
Friendly staff in a larger hotel about 30 minutes north of Bologna. Next to the hotel is a gym and indoor swimming pool included in the rate.

Hotel in Terrible Conditions
This hotel is so rundown that it's not worth the price of admission. The outside needs major work, but the actual rooms are horrible. The sheets look old, the beds are tiny, the sofa is dusty and just plain dirty, the bathroom looks like hell. The A/C doesn't start working until late April and there's nothing you can do about this. There is no mini fridge, no microwave, but there is room service. We were too afraid to try it though. The staff were real nice about getting me situated in my room at noon when check in wasn't until 2 pm. And there's amble parking if you're driving in from the airport. Other than that, I'd steer clear from this place. There must be better places in this city. I was very disappointed to say the least.

Old Hotel in the middle of nowhere.
I stayed at the hotel during the COSMOPROF in Bologna because there were no other hotels available near the venue. It was about 40 minutes from Bologna Fiere. The hotel staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Due to the poor public transportation from the hotel to the venue the hotel made arrangements with the local bus company to accomodate the people attending the Cosmoprof. I guess due to the hotel being in a very small town access to public transportation and any convenient stores (Coffee shops, restaurants, convenient stores, mart etc) is difficult. The facilities of the hotel such as beds, television and public areas are pretty old by any metropolitan standards. The bed was way too soft and I couldn't sleep well. However, the restaurants were very inexpensive and the food was awesome. The pizza and pastas were the best I have ever tasted by the way. Over all, unless you want to spend some time in a small town for some quiet time I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

Great for business travelers
The hotel is perfectly acceptable for the location. As pieve di cento is mostly a farm community about 25 minutes outside of Bologna. for the price the hotel is perfect. The Wi-Fi signal is only available in the lobby of the hotel. I was NEVER able to access it from my room or the restaurant (I was there for 10 days). I often lost all mobile signals in the restaurant. Overall the hotel is clean (a bit dated but again it was fine) and the staff was very friendly.

Grand Hotel Once
Very tired Hotel that once would have been grand. Soft furnishings very shabby, decor badly needing a makeover. Amenities closed or only open at certain times. More two star than four. This was a huge disappointment.

The air conditioning in the public areas was poor (hot), in the room was noisy and didn't cool. The bathroom in the room is big, but the shower extremely small, there no place where accommodate your personal belonging. At all, was a bad experience to lodge at this hotel.

I came for 3 nights on business. The hotel is very old style and rooms are old fashioned. The noise through the walls and door is so loud that I couldn't get much sleep even though I had a junior suite! On the plus side the staff were very polite and helpful. I would not recommend the hotel.

Grand Hotel Bologna - Definately Recommend
We stayed in a junior suite with our 6 month old daughter in September. The room was very clean and well furnished, with a large bathroom which had a bath a separate shower and was also very clean. There was a good selection on offer for breakfast. The hotel was about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Pieve di Cento. We would definately recommend it and would stay there again ourselves. We had a very pleasant stay.

Buongiorno Sig. Scalarandis, grazie per la sua recensione. Ci stiamo impegnando a ristrutturare l'hotel. I lavori che già sono partiti da diversi mesi a livello strutturale e impiantistico e breve anche di abbellimento della struttura. Immagino avrà notato le enormi impalcature che ci sono intorno alla struttura, da qui inizieremo anche il ripristino delle parti esterne unitamente al rinnovo degli ambienti comuni e nei prossimi mesi anche delle camere. Sicuramente si sarà reso conto che l'hotel è molto grande e quindi i lavori richiedono tempo e molti sforzi per una struttura privata, che è stata rilevata da appena un anno da una nuova gestione che si sta facendo carico di quanto non attuato in precedenza. saremo lieti se vorrà tornare più avanti per verificare la nuova versione della struttura. Anche se non si è firmato ringraziamo comunque per la recensione. L'albergo è in fase di ristrutturazione, inizieranno i lavori a breve sulla parte esterna e poi quella interna, ci spiace abbiate soggiornato in una fase ancora agli inizi, certamente nei prossimi mesi verrà tutto migliorato, la gestione è cambiata da pochi mesi.

Forse era un 4 stelle 50 anni fa..Una vera truffa, camera non come dalle foto, struttura molto vecchia con pareti rotte lenzuola sporche pavimento sporco.. un disastro. Dalle foto di questo 4 stelle figura anche una vasca idromassaggio, invece c era una doccia di 30 anni fa tutta arrugginita e con la muffa sopra il soffitto. Una vera truffa!

Siamo rimasti tre giorni con il bordo del wc sporco dalla pipì dei precedenti clienti, nonostante le segnalazioni nessuno ha mai pulito... La colazione poverissima con paste durissime per quanto erano datate e inoltre dietro le tende si sono ragnatele da incubo. Tutto molto sporco e vecchio

L'albergo è pulito, il ristorante è Ottimo, il bar, mancano camerieri professionali, sembra facile fare un buon caffè ma non è così, poi il cappuccino buono è ancora più difficile, ottima la colazione ma dovrebbero dare un aiuto all'unica cameriera che si fa in quattro per servire tutto, nel complesso buono e buon rapporto qualità prezzo, poi c'è un signore che non ho capito bene se è un titolare cosa, molto simpatico e gentile, ci tornero.

Pessima impressione dell'esterno all'arrivo, benino l'accoglienza, camera pulita ma francamente i 4* (e forse anche i 3*) sono un'altra cosa. E non ti fa cambiare idea di certo una sala congressi, una wellness area (non vista, a dire il vero) o l'annesso ristorante (non visitato, dato il contesto di piena sfiducia nella gestione dell'hotel). Bagno da Pensione Rosalpina a Miramare anni '70, ascensore stile montacarichi, cavi e tubi esposti in corridoio, illiminazione e letti che hanno visto giorni (notti) migliori... Consiglio vivamente alla Direzione di visitare qualche 4* serio, prima di autocertificarsi. E di far capire ai dipendenti di non fare troppo i seccati se si chiede di vedere altre camere, visto che la stanza assegnata di certo non corrispondeva a quella vista in fotografia. Prezzo conveniente sì, ma stavolta di certo non money for value.

Hotel molto grande con vari servizi annessi fra i quali una piscina coperta , una pizzeria ed un ristorante molto buoni. Ottimo piazzale per il parcheggio e personale gentile e disponibile. Unica nota negativa il tempo per il pagamento della camera: 20 minuti per poter saldare il conto, causa un pos che non funziona. Ma un hotel di quelle dimensioni non può avere altri sistemi per i pagamenti on line?

J’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel pour un voyage d’affaire. Bel hôtel un peu ancien mais le service est de qualité, les repas sont bon. Je conseil cet hôtel il est bien.

Gedateerd en gehorig complex. Zeer slecht geslapen en de voorzieningen waren vrijwel allemaal gesloten. De receptie nam mijn klacht over mijn gehorige kamer niet serieus en had blijkbaar meer tijd voor de bussen met Aziatische gasten.

L’hotel in generale necassita di una ristrutturazione che però piano piano sta avvenendo! Anche perché nel complesso et l’unica nota dolente! Per il resto , cominciando dal ristorante con ottimo cibo e con un nuovo chef super, anche il personale è molto disponibile e preparato, la camera è abbastanza silenziosa anche se sono datate.... ma la cosa straordinaria di questa struttura è l’area sport con una VERA PALESTRA è Una Vera PISCINA OLIMPIONICA !!! No come altri hotel che scrivono palestra e piscina e troviamouna panca multifunzione e un tappeto è una vasca di 4 metri dove non puoi fare nemmeno 3 bracciate. In conclusione chiedo ai proprietari di dare una importante ristrutturazione perché il complesso è imponente e bisogna salvaguardarlo.

Stanza troppo calda, ho detto se potevano accendere clima e mi hanno detto che non si poteva perché centralizzato. Aereatore del bagno non funzionava. Troppo chiasso sia da parte degli ospiti sia dai clienti che andavano nel pub sotto, impossibile riposare e nessuno faceva niente.
