Authentic Austrian character blends harmoniously with contemporary luxuries and facilities that make life easier, such as a shared ski storage room with ski boot dryer and laundry room. From the heated south-facing balcony, you look out over the imposing mountains of the Hohe Tauern and the Salzach valley. Can you already see yourself sitting down with a Schnaps? The residence is located on the outskirts of cosy Piesendorf; an authentic village in Pinzgau. You walk straight to the bakery, supermarket and restaurants in the centre (about 500 m). Or you can have the local baker deliver fresh rolls to your door in the morning. By car or ski bus (stop at 400 m) you can reach the well-known ski resorts of Kaprun and Zell am See in no time. Kaprun is located near a glacier and, with a peak of 3029 metres, is pretty snow-sure. You can often ski there from November to May. The Zell am See ski resort is very extensive and fun for both beginners and advanced skiers. From the slopes you have a beautiful view of the lake. In total, the Kaprun-Zell am See area has no less than 135 km of slopes. And with the ZellamseeXpress, a trip to the slopes of the Skicircus Saalbach/Hinterglemm is also a possibility, which extends the total slopes to 408 km. Wir waren wandern bei 2 schönen Wasserfällen, Eislaufen, im Schwimmbad und auf dem Kitzsteinhorn+ Maisiflitzer. Im Herbst ist dort alles wunderschöne eingefärbt. Die Wohnung war trotz der angegebenen Größe ausreichend groß, toll eingerichtet und schön ruhig. Und hat es wirklich super dort gefallen...gerne wieder... Piesendorf liegt ideal, um in der Umgebung Ausflüge zu unternehmen. Zwei Anmerkungen: soll die Wohnung „besenrein“ übergeben werden, so wäre ein Besen und ein Kehrblech hilfreich. Wir hatten Silberfische in der Wohnung, an der perfekten Sauberkeit und am Zustand der Wohnung lag es sicher nicht. Das Thema sollte sicher einfach zu beheben sein. Insgesamt waren wir mit der Ferienwohnung zufrieden, kritisiert werden muss jedoch die mangende Sauberkeit. Bei Anreise war die Wohnung nur oberflächlich gereinigt und auch eine Nachreinigung brachte nur kleine Verbesserungen.
