The flat backyard that runs right to the water made it super easy to play outside and hang by the lake.This was a big college football weekend, but with the big TVs in both the main house and the boathouse, we never felt like we were missing anything or stuck indoors. We spent a ton of time on the huge wrap-around deck grilling and just hanging out. Inside, everything was clean and thoughtfully set up – the kitchen was fully stocked, and the primary bedroom/bathroom suite was surprisingly large and nicely separated from the other rooms.Overall, the house was comfortable, relaxing, and really had that true “getaway” vibe. The home was very clean, well-kept, and comfortable—plenty of pillows (a relief since I forgot mine!). The fenced-in yard gave us peace of mind for our dogs, and the entire property felt very safe.The outdoor space was the highlight. The large, spotless pool was perfect for a daily swim, and we also brought our kayaks to enjoy time out on the lake. We spent most of our time on the deck—sometimes relaxing in the screened-in area with a ceiling fan for a break from the sun, other times rocking in the comfortable chairs while taking in the gorgeous lakefront views. The sunsets over the water were especially beautiful.Evenings by the fire pit were a perfect way to end the day. One of our favorite routines was heading out on the lake in the morning, swimming in the pool in the afternoon, and then making s’mores by the fire pit at night. Truly the best of all worlds.The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing, making it easy to unplug and unwind. Communication with the host and the check-in process were smooth and easy.We highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful views, great amenities, and dog-friendly peace of mind. We left feeling refreshed and will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips."
