We hiked crabtree falls, and from there the only entertainment we needed was listening to the sounds of the river behind us as we enjoyed our stay. The home was cozy, the screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and late night talking, and the backyard feels like its own campground, where you can fish, wade in the river, and cook s'mores over the campfire. The back of the property leads down to the river flowing by and the sound of the water rushing over the rocks gives a very pleasant place to relax next to the fire pit. The well appointed bungalow is wonderfully appointed with a fishing and outdoor theme and it’s so comfortable and inviting. Makes you just want to move in. Lori and Todd went above and beyond...gave us so much info on places to go. Had several storms and river was high, but Todd gave my husband a lot of info on fishing spots nearby. It was very clean and peaceful. The screened in porch is great for the hot and buggy Virginia summers. The central AC and wifi were also a treat. One thing to note is that if you are driving back at night make sure you have your GPS on, the road is dark and winding and you can easily miss the house. ##### Susan P. We had a great time!! Super quiet and peaceful little spot. Adorable little house which had everything we needed and then some. We appreciated the WiFi so we could keep in touch with our families. The screened back porch is huge, overlooking the backyard down to the river. The house itself was immaculate clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The back porch/deck is the place to be as well. It's close to nearby eateries, breweries/wineries and just what we needed to get away from it all.
