"I have stayed at this hotel several times and have enjoyed each stay. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and in good condition. The area has shopping and restaurants near by but there is not a lot of variety in the restaurants (it's almost all sushi and noodle restaurants), and I would not describe the area as "walkable". You can walk places, of course, but it is not really a pleasant walk for the 1-2 KMs (one way) it would take to get to stores/restaurants because it is a high-traffic area. Typically you would be getting in the car and driving a short distance somewhere. That is just something to be aware of and not a criticism of the hotel. There is a restaurant, a full-service bar, and a cafe on site. The food in the restaurant is good (not great, not excellent, but good) and not exorbitantly priced."

"Convenient location, easy parking, very good value for money. The building itself is starting to show its age. The main lobby and entrance are well-kept, but the architecture is from the era when room corridors were only 7-8 foot ceilings, not the high ceilings that are more common now. The room was spacious and clean. The door and bathroom were a bit older in style and decor, but not a problem. Was nice to have a functioning balcony. Air conditioner was an older model - effective, but noisy. Didn't get to try the restaurant or bar, as this was a work trip and we ate out with the team. While you can certainly find nicer hotels in the city, they are also priced accordingly. So it mainly comes down to how much you are willing to spend. Other colleagues spent 3-4x as much at a different hotel and had nicer rooms, but I was fine with my choice and very happy with the price."

"Even with the ongoing labour dispute, the hotel was clean, friendly and comfortable. Getting onto the property was relatively quick despite picketers holding cars for 5 mins and letting 5 cars in at a time. The concert venue is conveniently located as is the gambling floor."
