Beautiful cottage in a lovely location.
Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Handy base for Pickering, Milton, Thornton-le-Dale and Whitby. One of the best equips kitchen we have ever stayed in. Love watching all the birds from the conservatory.
An excellent stayin this besitiful, spacious property. The conservatory overlooks a well maintained garden which has an abundance of visiting birds. No traffic noise at all. Comfy, clean beds. All of the property is very clean and extremely well equiped. We've been renting cottages for over 15 years and this was by far the very best.

Pity it rained but comfortable accommodation to stay in.
Pity it rained but comfortable accommodation to stay in. Owner supplied tea coffee biscuits which was very acceptable. Only one problem, qintent on keeping us warm the duvet covers where too heavy and often too warm. Had to leave a note that the top tray in the dishwasher needed attention before someone made matters worse.

Expensive for us, but worth it ! Spacious homely comfortable.
Expensive for us, but worth it ! Spacious homely comfortable. No pub in the village , pub situated on the main road. Small shop in the village. Eggs next door. Pickering short drive away every amenity there. Whitby about 15miles away.
We love the peace and quiet of Lockton, stayed about 4 times before. It's easy to get everywhere moors, Dalby Forest, steam railway, seaside, Flamingo land. We would highly recommend Horcum View.
