The bed was hard and the bathrooms multisex and shared with the cafe downstairs. The property is an old colonial-era building right in the middle of Old Town Pucket. The cafe downstairs is a nice place to hang out and serves great food – even if they overcharge the hell out of what you eat (breakfast is not included with your stay) Unfortunately the cafe is where the airconditioning stops, the hostel’s common area is most of the day not a great hangout simply because it’s too hot, and when you walk out of your room you get hit in the face by the heat that lingers in the upstairs hallways. The private room I was in had a bed without springs and a hard matress. After 2 nights I was glad to leave because my back was acting up. You can just step outside and be surrounded by restaurants, cafes, bars and markets. The hostel is absolutely beautiful and looks like every detail has been thought of. I stayed in the female dorm and the room was very spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. Overall great value for money! Only negative I can think of is the wifi not working very well upstairs in the female dorm.
