Much better but still some smell of smoke. They allow guests to smoke out in the balcony. How many smokers are going to obey that! Non-Smocking room should be Totally NO Smoking! Reception staff friendly, helpful and very patient, lots of fun and they make the place a 5\* from me. I'd injured my back and arrived a day early. No problem. They extended my stay, gave me the room I like and moved all my bags. Housekeeping are good at what they do. The bedroom was kept clean and neat. The restaurant is also good and the lady who makes eggs for breakfast is a lovely person, full of humour and always helpful, as are the other staff. The food is good as well. Laundry service good if a tadge expensive but it saved me making the effort. The location is one of the reasons I stay. 3 mins from Jung Ceylon and food and coffee, 4 mins from Central with its excellent food hall and 3 floors of shopping, 4 mins from crazy Bangla, 6 mins from the sea and 12 mins to the Immigration office if you want to extend your visa... would I stay again?
