The floor seems to be really thin, because until 2.30am it's like trying to sleep in the bar; even with ear plugs. If they are not playing the same rubbish album on repeat; it's karaoke time :'( The bars tables are immediately outside the front door of the hostel, so you have to walk through all the drunk Thai people. Worse, the front door is left open and nobody on reception, so all the bar people use the ground floor toilet and hang around the hostel. On the last night we stayed, there was a domestic between hostel folk complaining about noise and stamping on the floor and the drunk Thai people came kicking furniture around and hanging around the room corridor. We had to put the bunk bed behind the door for safety.
