We got to our room and noticed a lot of ants. Went to the front desk and they were very understanding and offered to change our room. Unfortunately the new room had ants and we found a spider in the bed. We then went back to the front desk where they offered us 2 more rooms but ultimately showed us a third. By this point we were grossed out having seen ants in 3 out of the 5 rooms that we left the following day. As expected this caused me problems on check in, especially as I was leaving the Island after that stay. I mentioned to the receptionist( as feedback )to please have management state it clearly on Expedia. From then on she seemed to have an attitude. It just left a bad impression. The male night time staff member at the end my stay was great, so its not a general problem with staff. The room itself was fine, but the bathroom was acrid with the smell of mold. I had extremely noisy neighbours throughout the nights I stayed there. The bed itself was really comfortable. The cleaning staff are excellent, friendly and professional.
