The Neighborhood: Located in a peaceful and safe neighborhood, with a low density compared with denser urban centers. The neighborhood contains a mix of older stablished single family homes (often built in the '70s and '80s) and newer remodels. You can take a 15 minutes walk to Sereno Park and enjoy its amenities. Getting Around: Roads & Driving This house is located near to major arterials like Shea Boulevard, Sweetwater, Bell Road and Tatum Boulevard. These are your main connectors to shopping, freeways, etc. The nearest freeway is Loop 101(Pima Freeway). That gives you good access to Phoenix, Tempe and other parts of the metro. Public Transit & Rideshare: \- Rideshare (Waymo/Uber/Lyft) are plentiful and convenient in the area. \- Valley Metro and public transit operate across the Valley; however, North Scottsdale is not heavily served by the railway. Most rentals in the Old Town area are condos or resort-style hotels. Q. How far is the home from the Airport? A. Most people fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor. This is about 20 to 30 minutes from most locations in Scottsdale. If you fly privately into Scottsdale Airport, you are only about 10 minutes away. Q. How does the pool heat work? A. If you request to have the pool heated, we begin the heating process 24 to 48 hours prior to arrival. We set the heat to 85 degrees. This does not mean the pool maintains that temperature during the colder season. The pool heat fee is applied to the entire stay. Q. Are there restaurants nearby? A. Yes, Scottsdale is a big city and There are numerous restaurants, bars, and shopping all around within a short distance. Q. Early check-in or late check-out? A. The house has nice layout for big groups, including open living space, dining area and bedrooms. It is showing some signs of wear and tear of a constant rental, but minimal issue for a few days stay. The hosts were very responsive and easy to work with. We were an ‘early’ group so late nights etc weren’t in our plans, but there are signs around the neighbourhood that don’t like this is a rental property “homes not hotels”. And it is a bit further than anticipated from Old Town…expect to be spending 30min in an uber most times of day. ##### Laura D. We basically lived outdoors and enjoyed all the amenities around the pool. The pool, hot tub, and water slide were great for the kids and adults alike. There was plenty of space in this house for our group of 6\. We used the kitchen and grill to make meals and everything worked wonderfully for food prep. The host was responsive to our requests. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to experience the indoors/outdoors living that Scottsdale has to offer. ##### David B. We thought we could have used an extra bathroom being there are 7 bedrooms and one of the bathrooms is within the master suite. We loved the pool, but could have used more pool instructions and more frequent pool service. We had to call for pool service since the pool got very cloudy and needed the bottom vacuumed. Two different sets of trash day instructions for trash day pickup were confusing. But please know that the property is lovely and we loved the location and all had a great vacation together coming to us living in AZ from Michigan and Missouri. ##### Nancy B. The only downfall was once the floor was wet inside the house and around the pool it was slippery !! I recommend bringing rugs for the walkway or extra towels for the floor.
