Most rentals in the Old Town area are condos or resort-style hotels. Q. How far is the home from the Airport? A. Most people fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor. This is about 20 to 30 minutes from most locations in Scottsdale. If you fly privately into Scottsdale Airport, you are only about 10 minutes away. Q. How does the pool heat work? A. If you request to have the pool heated, we begin the heating process 24 to 48 hours prior to arrival. We set the heat to 85 degrees. This does not mean the pool maintains that temperature during the colder season. The pool heat fee is applied to the entire stay. Q. Are there restaurants nearby? A. Yes, Scottsdale is a big city and There are numerous restaurants, bars, and shopping all around within a short distance. Q. Early check-in or late check-out? A. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We planned a trip out to the Scottsdale/phx area to visit family and enjoy some warmer weather. This home was amazing, having plenty of space for everyone and a pool to keep the younger half of us busy. We all love the hot tub after hiking in Sedona and horseback riding in the foothills. The house has nice layout for big groups, including open living space, dining area and bedrooms. It is showing some signs of wear and tear of a constant rental, but minimal issue for a few days stay. The hosts were very responsive and easy to work with. We were an ‘early’ group so late nights etc weren’t in our plans, but there are signs around the neighbourhood that don’t like this is a rental property “homes not hotels”. And it is a bit further than anticipated from Old Town…expect to be spending 30min in an uber most times of day. ##### Laura D. The pool, hot tub, and water slide were great for the kids and adults alike. There was plenty of space in this house for our group of 6\. We used the kitchen and grill to make meals and everything worked wonderfully for food prep. The host was responsive to our requests. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to experience the indoors/outdoors living that Scottsdale has to offer. ##### David B. We basically lived outdoors and enjoyed all the amenities around the pool. The house was nicely stocked with items you'd need (paper towels, towels, dish washer and washing machine detergent, and toilet paper - which doesn't always happen!) and we were welcomed to a snack basket and bottles of water in the fridge, which was a nice touch.
