### Scarlet Mountain Hideaway. Private HEATED pool fee,hot tub and putting green

This is a beautiful, remodeled 5 bedroom 3.5 bathroom home.  
It is two stories with a huge Main bedroom downstairs containing 2 king beds. Sleeps 12 in beds with 5 twin and 2 full size air mattress available. Plenty of room to sleep 20 of your family members for a reunion or gathering.  
  
Pool Heat $420/weekend up to 7 days. ($60/day after) Confirm 1 week or so in advance to verify the pool heat is on and paid for. \*Available by request. Spa heat is included with reservation.  
  
We offer pool heat for a fee all winter.  
1\. The weather is sometimes warm in Dec/Jan. 70+ degrees for a daytime high.  
The pool can be heated for the standard pool heat fee in that weather.  
2\. The weather is sometimes much colder in Dec/Jan. You may decide it is  
not comfortable to swim and elect not to heat the pool.  
3\. If you still want the pool heated when it is much colder, then the actual cost is much higher. You will still be given the option to heat the pool.  
Check in with us a few days before arrival to review the weather conditions.  
We will not collect the pool heat fee in advance for Dec/Jan bookings because the cost is not guaranteed in advance.  
  
Large upstairs patio with couch and chairs for relaxing and enjoying the stunning mountain views !  
There is a mountain preserve with many hiking trails with incredible views to enjoy right beside the house. \*Occasionally,bees come from the desert to the pool from time to time\* After a hike when it is warm outside, the best way to cool off is to jump in the pool (heated for fee) and turn on the BBQ. (fyi- the pool fountain is not operational.)  
4 smart tvs in the house, xbox 360 and games in front living room, Ping Pong table in the garage, extra refrigerator in the garage.  
The surrounding neighborhood is very quiet and friendly.  
  
Kierland Commons 15 minutes. Glendale sports stadiums 30 minutes, Barret Jackson 25 minutes, Old town Scottsdale 25 minutes, Mayo clinic 15 minutes. The Desert Ridge shopping center is only an 8 min drive from the property. There are many places to eat or shop such as: Chipotle, Yard House, Mellow Mushroom, In N Out, Firehouse Subs, California Pizza Kitchen, Starbucks, AMC, Dave N Busters, Walgreens, Target, Kohls Ross. Just a short 6 min drive there is a Costco (Does require a membership).  
Just 24 min to/from Phx Sky Harbor Airport (non-rush hour).  
Easy access to the 101 - located 1 block from the 101 Freeway  
Closest sporting events and Spring Training facilities are: Salt River Fields at Talking Stick which is 23min drive. Peoria sports complex is only a 20 Min drive from the property.  
Favorite Day Trips include: Sedona, Flagstaff, Tucson, Quartzite, and Tortilla Flats.  
Lookout Mountain Golf Course & Paradise Valley Golf Course are the two closest courses within a 15 min drive.  
  
Here is the sleeping arrangement:  
Master Bedroom (downstairs): 2 king size beds  
(All windows and doors have blinds for privacy.)  
Master Bedroom (upstairs): 1 king size bed  
Bedroom 3: 1 king size bed  
Bedroom 4: 2 extra long twin size beds  
Bedroom 5: 2 extra long twin size beds  
Bedrooms 2&3 share a bathroom (upstairs bathrooms newly remodeled in 2022)  
Plus 2 full size air mattresses and 5 twin air mattresses in master closet

In an effort to be good neighbors, we want to keep the noise and traffic to a minimum. We have additional rules below. We do make exceptions to these rules on a case by case basis.  
  
Quiet Hours are 10pm - 7am (respect the neighbors quiet enjoyment of their homes)  
Groups of all adults under 50 years old MAY not be accepted.  
Travelers without reviews MAY not be accepted.  
Primary guests under 40 years old MAY not be accepted.  
Bookings less than 7 days in advance MAY not be accepted.  
Guests booking under someone else's account MAY not be accepted.  
Guests paying with someone else's card MAY not be accepted.  
Creepy Crawly Pool cleaner must remain in the pool. If removed the system will overheat quickly and cause a meltdown.  
No street parking at all times. The 3 car driveway and 2 car garage are available for your use.  
No events allowed like birthday parties, wedding dinners, reunions etc.  
Mid stay cleanings are required on all reservations over 15 days in order to lessen the volume of cleaning required at check out.  
Additional guest fee above 12 total guests is $15 per guest per night.  
Additional visitors are limited. Guests staying and visitors cannot exceed 14 adults at any time.

#### Voyage de golf annuel avec les Boys

Très bonne maison pour un groupe d’amis, les 2 chambres avec 2 lits simples pourraient fournir de meilleurs lits, plutôt des lits d’enfant, les 4 hommes étaient à l’étroit sur ces 4 lits sinon tout était très bien, bien situé près des routes principales, quartier tranquille. La maison pourrait être rafraîchie, une machine à café espresso serait un ajout apprécié.

The house was big enough for our group of 7. My kids enjoyed playing in the pool. The house was clean when we arrived and everything was functioning well. Check in was easy. The kitchen was big and stocked with everything needed to make a meal.

The sleep rooms and bathrooms were fine. The ice maker was frozen and could not be used. Entry locks did not work, I was able to go through the garage.The pool was in terrible shape needs to be re-plastered, dirty. Hot tube had a dilapidated cover with pieces floating on the top. Pool toys and equipment scatter all over the yard. Looks like it has not been maintained in some time. It could be an excellent rental, just needs to be maintained.

The house was great for what we were wanting to do there. A couple of things we noticed during the stay: Lights in the laundry room are flickering. 1 can light is flickering and 1 light is out in the main floor master bathroom. The cover for the hot tub was falling a part when we got to the property and continued to fall apart more during covering and uncovering. This was nothing we could control. Photos below are of the cover when we first arrived along with the floaties around the yard. We did not use any of these during our stay. Lastly, there is a plate that is broken in half. This happened in the dish washer. The plate says it’s dishwasher safe, but we wanted to leave it to show that it was not dropped, it was from the dishwasher.

Well stocked kitchen. Pool was the highlight but the debris in the bottom needed to be removed. Someone came to clean it but I guess the depth prevented them from reaching it. Kind of a lot of rules and check in was over complicated. However, it was enjoyable and the location was great!

Overall our stay was wonderful! There were enough rooms and beds for all 8 of us to sleep peaceful and comfortable. The house was beautiful to us all. Instructions were easy to follow, house was clean. The only issue if I had to point out any would be the bee's that swarms the rocks over by the pool. Just wanted to mention that for anyone who wants to swim but may have a bee allergy. But overall everything else was chefs kiss in my opinion

#### Spacious house with responsive host

The house was spacious and had plenty of room for our group, which we appreciated. However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness. Two of the showers had stains, pieces of hair and shaving cream on the wall. The pool and hot tub wasn’t clean during our stay, which affected our ability to fully enjoy the amenities. With more attention to cleaning and maintenance, this could be a much better rental.The host was responsive and easy to communicate. Thank you for allowing us a late check out. 10am checkout is unreasonable. Especially when you expect guests to start laundry and clean and put all dishes away. The one recommendation I would make is, you shouldn’t expect your guests to put away all dishes. My friends thought that was unrealistic. After breakfast, we hand washed all dishes then dried them and put away. If we started the dishwasher, there’s no way we would have time to put them away

Large home to accommodate the 6 of us so that only 2 to a bathroom, very spacious. Plenty of linens. Pool was nice. We really were able to relax. Having access to the garage is such a plus for safety and convenience. Small little things were communicated through manager and she was very responsive!wonderful time! .

We really enjoyed our stay! A group of 6 adults and 8 children visited for 4 days for Spring Break. We loved the pool, space, and our trip overall. The house was clean and had great accommodations. We ran into a small issue and the owner took steps to rectify immediately. The assistants to the owner were incredibly helpful and made the little communication we needed very easy. We would absolutely recommend this house and would love to book again the next time we visit our friend in AZ!

#### Great property and location!

We had a great time in AZ. We spent a lot of time at the house as we had 2 kids that love to swim (I think the adults had almost as much fun, too). The pool and hot tub were so much fun! The putting green was a bonus. The backyard has some great shade if you want to stay out of the sun. There were plenty of options for sleeping and more than enough room for our group. There are some great hiking trails right out the front door and Lookout Mountain is a 10 minute drive. If you are considering, you won’t be disappointed!

The house was very clean, spacious, and inviting. The location is great because you are close to all the conveniences that the Phoenix area has to offer but feel like you are in a secluded dessert area when you hang out in the backyard. There is an entry to the trails behind the house right next to the driveway and we hiked every day. The balance of hiking right outside our door and the convenience of quick access to the interstate was perfect for our group. The backyard was also a great place to hang out and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Our group was in town for work. The location of this house is absolutely amazing! It had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and it had everything we needed. There was a slight issue when we got to the house to check in, but we were able to get a hold of the property manager right away and the issue was fixed in no time! We will definitely stay at this property again in the future!

Great location and property had awesome features: pool, hot tub, putting green and ping pong table for family fun plus hiking out back door. Clean bathrooms and kitchen; nice layout and comfortable beds.Paid for heated pool but it took 4 calls plus texting to get heat settings in hot tub and pool corrected. Kitchen dinnerware mostly chipped; not a worthwhile teflon skillet or usual utensils provided making cooking difficult. Carpets were filthy. Mention of beehive is certainly necessary as location next to pool was alarming. Neighbor dogs barking all night not ideal.Would stay again especially if attention to improve kitchen and carpet

#### An Early Thanksgiving Get Together and Family Reunion

We had an excellent stay at the Scarlett Mountain Hideaway. The downstairs open floor plan was perfect for our family get together. We were able to BBQ one night and the many seating areas, both indoors and in the backyard were great. We enjoyed using the hot tub several times. We Chose not to hear the pool as the additional price tag for that was prohibitive. The location of the house was really good. It was close to both the 101 and the 51. This was our first time using VRBO and the experience was very good. We will definitely use the service again and if we return to Phoenix we would stay at this house again. Our host, Darin, and his staff were good. They responded quickly to our questions via text. Overall we had a great extended weekend stay. I would recommend this house highly to other large groups looking for a quiet and beautiful place to stay.
