The math on a good group trip is always the same: everyone under one roof, and somewhere to disappear to when you need it. Azur splits the difference — five apartments in a single North Phoenix building, so the whole crew stays together without stacking into one living room, and the rooftop above does the entertaining.

Two of the five are two-bedroom, two-bath homes, each built around a pair of queen rooms. The primary is a proper suite with its own TV and a private bath finished with a clean walk-in shower; the second room carries the same comfortable feel, with a full bath and shower-and-tub combo for a long soak after a day on the trails or the course. The other three are one-bedroom, one-bath apartments — a queen, an open living area, and a lot more room to spread out than a hotel room gives you. Together they sleep fourteen across seven bedrooms and seven baths.

Every home runs on the same logic: a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, a full-size fridge, dishwasher, coffee setup, and seating that opens straight into the living area, so nobody's cooking alone. Bright, uncluttered rooms with smart TVs. And a private balcony off the living space, looking out over the community — the spot you'll claim for the first coffee of the day and the last stretch of light in the evening.

Then there's the roof, which is where this building distinguishes itself. Guests have access to a resort-style pool anchoring the deck, ringed by loungers and shaded cabanas, with a hot and cold plunge spa alongside for anyone who takes recovery seriously. There's a covered lounge with communal tables and bar seating, grilling areas with room to sit down and eat, and fire pits that keep people out there well past sunset with the city lights spread below and the mountains beyond. The fitness center is up there too, and it goes well past the usual — Peloton bikes, free weights, TRX, and rowers, plus a dedicated yoga and Pilates space outfitted with two reformers. Round it out with a dry sauna, a clubroom with billiards and shuffleboard, and an on-site dog wash for the post-adventure cleanup.

The neighborhood pulls its weight. High Street — a polished stretch of restaurants and shops — is a short walk from the door, and Desert Ridge Marketplace is under a mile on for shopping, dining, and a movie. The Musical Instrument Museum is about a mile out and makes a genuinely great afternoon, the Mayo Clinic campus is close for anyone here on medical travel, and the Loop 101 puts the rest of the Valley within easy reach. Golfers are roughly ten minutes from TPC Scottsdale, and Kierland and the Quarter cover the shopping side of the Scottsdale line, with Old Town about twenty minutes south. For slower mornings, the trails at Reach 11 and the surrounding desert preserves are a couple of miles out — flat, quiet, and full of birds if you get out early enough.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
