Unfortunately, the pool was not heated (broken heater that the owner didn't know about), the firepit was out of gas, and the grill had only enough gas for one meal. Before our stay I communicated clearly with the owner to ensure the pool would be heated as there are many places offering heated pools. The property also was 'well loved' by a previous renter with trash remaining throughout the yard, an overflowing recycling bin, a broken light shade,burned out lightbulbs, and an outlet falling out of the wall. While the property owner communicated promptly, it definitely wasn't "Luxe" for us, I'm not sure why the renter has to tell the owner everything that is wrong, and no compensation was offered despite the shortcomings. Only issue we had was the Master Bedroom was converted to 2 separate bunkbeds so you are not getting what you would expect. The other bedroom is small and tucked away. Nov 11, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy We stayed at the end of September and it happened to be unusually cool and rainy...so when the air conditioner wasn't working the first night, it really wasn't a problem. The host had someone on it right away the next morning and it worked great afterward. The home was clean and the sleeping set up worked perfectly for a low key girls weekend. The pool was warm and inviting, although the crazy weather didn't allow us to take advantage as we would have liked.
