It is a perfect location walkable to old town and fashion Square is right across the street.Bery comfortable And clean except I think they forgot to vacuum the area rug in the living room …it probably needs replaced …but otherwise neat and clean and would definitely stay here again! ##### Jill V. Condo has everything you need and is walkable to Fashion Square Mall. Old Town Scottsdale is about a 5 min drive, 20 minutes to McDowell Preserve and 40 to Superstition Mountain (we love to hike). Complex is older, nice gardens, well maintained. Small pool - no hot tub on property. Condo is close to all of the action in Scottsdale (shopping, restaurants etc). We missed not having quiet trails or gardens to go for walks. Had to drive to find that experience. Overall enjoyed our stay. ##### Laura C. It was clean and comfortable. It had everything we wanted: nice comfortable king sized bed, a 65 inch smart tv in the living area and another smart tv in the bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked and there was a nice dining area adjacent with a table for 4\. There was a comfortable reclining chair and sofa in the living area with sliding doors leading to a small balcony with a table and chairs where we enjoyed morning coffee. Bathroom was great with a nice walk in shower. Our host Sherman provided a great guide to the property and the local area. He was very responsive before, during and after our stay. Up to date kitchen with stainless appliances. It looks like the photos. Second floor in a very quiet complex. The tiny deck overlooking a well maintained central area with lots of grass, trees and shrubs is a great place for morning coffee. Heated pool. Sherman was quick to answer any questions. Apr 11, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Lovely week spent in Scottsdale at the Camelback House condo We chose to stay at the lovely condo this year because we stayed there last year and were so impressed with everything about the condo, the entire upkeep of the complex, the beautiful pool area, the way Sherman had stocked the cupboards and drawers with every possible essential we could ever need. The key code made it simple to come and go and this year we used the immaculate laundry facility on the ground level and it was another great addition to the wonderful week's stay. We love the walkability location to Old Town and the quietness of the complex overall. Sherman is an excellent host and was available when we couldn't locate something he was willing to drive right over to help out!! We give this VRBO an A+ and definitely plan on returning next year. We do not hesitate to recommend this VRBO to anyone looking to stay in Scottsdale in a quiet, well maintained, beautifully decorated one bedroom condo with walkability to Old Town. ##### Kathy C. Less than a 5 min drive pretty much everywhere I went, plus there is a parking space reserved for the unit - very convenient! The little balcony was so nice for enjoying the beautiful evenings, and I also liked that it remained shaded all day - so it was comfortable any time. Also, the indoor AC temperature held - which I know is sometimes an issue in warmer climates. The property has a pool for the community, it is small but has very nice loungers that were so comfortable (and I don't say this lightly after having lived at a 5\* condotel in Miami Beach!). I went a few times and was the only person there - loved that!! I wish I had ventured out to explore the mall across the street earlier in my trip - but there is always next time! ##### Megan S. The complex itself looks dated when you drive in; however, the grounds are nicely kept and clean and the common areas look to be newly furnished. Many of the units show great pride of ownership and I'd describe it as a development in transition. It was also amazingly, surprisingly QUIET for spring in the desert. In a layout like this, one resident turning on speakers on their patio could ruin it for everyone -- but nobody did. Finally, there's Sherman. When we got to the unit bearing milk for our morning coffee, we saw that the Keurig cabinet was all but bare. We figured we should have thought of that. But no, there on my phone with the light blinking was Sherman telling us that housekeeping had alerted him and he'd be bringing by a box of coffee and soap for the shower. He left a welcoming, homemade guide book on the table -- and, we appreciated, did NOT have a long list of things to do before departing.
