We were under the influence that the airport shuttle would pick us up from the Sky Harbour airport. When I called to book the shuttle I was told it only went to the East Gate airport. That was a disappointment as it meant we needed to book Uber for transportation. I felt that was false advertising as it should have been mentioned in the list of amenities.

Waited for over an hour for a “shuttle” ride from the airport. Then an unmarked, shady as hell, van showed up to get me. Had to beg to get a “shuttle” ride back to the airport the next morning even though I had reserve a ride when I made the reservation. Super sketchy experience all the way around!!! Won’t be going back to this hotel, ever!!!

Though the hotel itself shows a bit of age, shower slow to drain and pillows are a bit scarce, the room was very, very clean and the front desks was excellent. I was a bit worried after reading negative reviews but would definitely stay again.

We reserved at this hotel because they have an airport shuttle. When I said we would need a shuttle at 5:30 am she told me the shuttle service didn’t start until 6am. In order to insure that we got to the airport in time we had to take an Uber which cost us $36. The rooms were clean and the beds were Just OK. The sink and tub were stained and the whole room smelled like bathroom deodorizer. There were at least two restaurants just a few steps away so that was a plus. Might stay there again but only if we had a later flight time. I think they need to post the shuttle hours in their online descriptive info.

Inside my room, the carpet was very worn and stained. There were lots of water damage marks and peeling wallpaper in the shower area. Maybe some mold. Room right next to freeway, so it was noisy. For the price, the hotel rating and the reviews, I just expected more. Breakfast buffet was standard. Not bad. Not being from the area, I chose this also based on the free shuttle from the airport. However, this shuttle is only for the Mesa airport, not the main phoenix airport. Uber ride was $55.

Complete disappointment overall. The room was absolutely nothing like the pictures. The couch had huge stains, the shower head was detached from the wall, and the carpet was so old it held a strange stench. It was extremely embarrassing bringing someone to Arizona for the very first time and hearing him say that it’s the worst hotel room he’s ever stayed in.

Service desk guy was great. He told us the secret to making the room key work. It took us about ten tries to get in the room, and we were glad the door handle didn’t fall off being as loose as it was. The room was not bad except for the dirty tub that I will not be getting into. Probably wouldn’t recommend this place.

Parts of the room, bathroom (old tub, difficult to use shower handle, scratched furniture). My room was right next to the elevator which was extremely noisy when it ran. The price was higher than I would usually pay for one night. It was spring break and I made day before reservation. I*m guessing it was all they had left. Staff was nice, efficient and very busy.

Chicken took a while. More than 15 minutes. Counter said that the computers are down. Also the front desk attendant seat is taped up with clear tape. Looks so tacky. Looks like a very low rated hotel by having that at the front desk. Again, like I always say, don’t know why I do these Rating stuff. Nothing ever gets done. Nor do I get a letter or a call. Plus the front of the hotel the paint is peeling.

The shuttle is a definite plus. The lobby and outside area were very nice. The room however, was not. The mattress was horrible, the entire bathtub and shower was stained and needs to be replaced. Outdated in general.

The rate for the property seemed high for the condition and quality of the room. We were in rm 239 and all of the fixtures and amenities seemed a couple decades old - the door car key usually only worked after 3-4 tries; the bathroom sink was yellowing and very cracked all around the drain. No plug ins for electronics, no room service provided other than garbage emptied. Breakfast was very limited and quality was mediocre, and seating very limited. Staff was pleasant at the front. We were there for a tournament, and the rate was $215, but to extend another day would have been over $300. That is a ridiculous rate for the condition the hotel is in. I would expect upgrades to all of the above if you are going to charge that rate.

Breakfast was great, location was good. My door knob was broke like someone had tried to break in at some point. Didn’t get any housekeeping in the 4 nights I was here for towels or anything. Overall it was okay, just disappointed in the cost I paid for what I received.

The location of this property is good however, some updating needs to be done. I can handle updating needs but when your bathroom seems like it hasn’t been cleaned that’s when I become unhappy with my choice. The bathroom toilet had urine under the seat, long black hairs in the bath tub, blood spot on the wall, and the free shampoo was already used. I would expect better for a $200 a night hotel.

It was quiet, even though the room was next to the elevator and the window faced the highway. The furniture in the room is really showing signs of wear. - like the fabric on the arm of the chair had a very large tear in it and the door of the cabinet that goes to the mini-fridge won't close shut any more. Shower was good - bed was comfortable. The room did what I needed - a place to sleep for the night. Was it worth $200 ?...nah.

The rooms are run down. Lots of cracking on the walls that was just painted over. Bathroom was not cleaned well when we arrived. Shower is old and the floor of the tub felt like it was going to bend and crack. Some parts of the room looked more updated while others were very outdated. Poor lighting in rooms, tv is is small and didn’t offer the ability to stream from our personal streaming accounts like other hotels. The staff wasn’t friendly nor rude. They were just ok.

Extremely disappointed
To preface, we’ve stayed at Country Inn and Suites hotels throughout the country and have always been satisfied with the accommodations. We were extremely disappointed though with our recent stay. For positives, the hotel staff was very pleasant and efficient during check-in and the daily breakfast was decent. The major concerns were over the condition of the property and room. The corridors and rooms smelled terribly, like cheap air freshener poorly masking mildew, smoke, and other foul odors of an aging hotel. The rooms were dirty, including linens that were stained and appeared to have not been changed out from the prior guest. Likewise, the bathroom was in a poor state with the shower curtain dirty and mildewed/moldy. Our rooms were not made up by housekeeping over several days, despite requesting service from the front desk. We asked for extra pillows for one of our kids to prop up in bed because she wants feeling good to which the front desk advised there were no additional pillows available in the entire hotel. Lastly, the $200+ cost per night for each room was a terrible value considering the issues with the room and dilapidated condition of the property. I would strongly urge potential guests to look for another property in the area that is cleaner and a better value.
