The second bedroom did not have a wall that extended all the way to the ceiling so we had to be careful about noise and light until the person using the bedroom woke up. I did not catch on to the number of steps to the front door. It was a walkway made of pavers and nothing to hold on to…only an issue for people with mobility issues (we have that problem). We also tried to open the back door located in the second bedroom and couldn’t get it open. In case of an emergency, this could be a problem. The hikes surrounding it, the quick trip (25 minutes) to the Phoenix Farmers market, Whole Foods, Scottsdale was so easy. An easy drive to Payson (1 hour) and an easy exit to Sedona (2.5 hours) made for a great day trip. The area and house are beautiful- so quiet with no light pollution to steal the stars. Coffee in the morning in the backyard is lively with birds and bunnies and wine on the side patio provides a great place to view the sunset. I would absolutely stay here again.
