"What a beautiful little oasis. Staff amazing, Sruyia on front desk could not have been more helpful. Sambo was our guide for youre and he was brilliant, so much info shared.Pool very warm water in April. So not super refreshing but lovely ambience. Food was awesome."

"Great location! Room was beautiful, clean, quiet, comfortable and generous size. The hotel ambiance is perfect for a romantic escapade, family weekend or a work retreat. It is authentic decor surrounded by nature. You can relax by the pool, exterior massages available and the restaurant provides excellent food, a lot of variety and great cocktails. The breakfast was included and excellent with fresh fruit! I highly recommend this hotel. The owners are simply wonderful, present and so caring. They also speak French."

"The sausage that came with the western breakfast was rancid. Did not use hotel restaurant for the remainder of the stay, including the breakfast. The air conditioner was fine but the total lack of construction insulation kept the room warm. Daylight can be seen coming thru the roof. The floor tile is scarred worn. No value here 😢 "

"Staff were great! Living areas were clean. But they had renovations going on. Relaxing by the pool was difficult when you have to listen to tile cutting with dust blowing everywhere between 9-5 everyday. Pools were not very clean(possibly dusty) Not being allowed to bring your own drinks into your room is on odd unwelcome rule also."

"There was no safe, despite it being advertised. The TV didnt work at all. The hotel didbnotvprovide any tea, only coffee. They claimed they could not import it from Thailand! The fridge froze everythjng you put in it."

"The pool was closed off for a meeting however this was all throughout our trip. Nobody was in this area when we went to the pool and we were not allowed to use this. Communication was poor and all items needed to be asked about nothing was in the room I.e shampoo, toilet roll etc. Location is further out from city but short TukTuk ride away. Ac was not working as we had incorrect remote in room and the fridge was dirty and turned off without key in room. "

"I really enjoyed my room. It was one with a balcony on the 4th floor overlooking the pool. Made for a great place to get a good night’s sleep after full days of exploring. The hotel is located centrally, so everything is closeby. The staff were very friendly. They smiled a lot and just left me to myself, which is what I like. Thanks!"

"We had a great stay at Family Batcave Homestay. It felt like a more authentic experience. Our host was lovely. He gave us a tour with his wife, or he organized for us to visit a variety of sites in and around Battambang. Plus, the food was great. I highly recommend it. "
