Un peu excentré versus les grandes attractions touristiques, le quartier est très paisible et les dites attractions sont facilement accessible en tuktuk pour 2-3$ Ou a la marche 1-3 km. Les déjeuners buffets et les oeufs/omelettes cuites aur demande nous ont ravies tout comme le personnel dédié à notre comfort et satisfaction. La climatisation et la douche (pression et eau chaude & froide) fonctionnaient à merveille! Our first room had a broken AC, so we were moved to a second room. The bed in the second room was a bit small, but ok for one night. The room and the hotel were all very clean. The breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful. They gave us extra surgical masks because we couldn’t find any at the stores and let us keep our bags safely at the hotel while we were sightseeing. It’s a good location for going to Tuol Sleng and a few dollars tuk tuk ride from the riverfront. There’s also a nice rooftop patio for the evenings. As usual in SE Asia, a decent price and value. Lots of smiling people who are willing to help. Service is on and off. Cleaners did not deliver toilet paper, and when we asked, only got one roll for several people. Breakfast is ok, not amazing. My daughters face mask made a hand towel black and a pillow case was marked by a sleeping mask. They insisted this was not washable and charged us $10\. Seems a lot when bleach has been invented. Location is a bit away from anything, but not too bad. The only setback is probably there is no swimming pool. It’s easy to get to Aeon and Nagaworld and to some good French restaurant like Khemer Pasteur. The hotel is amazing for the price. Friendly, accomodating staff. Big kudos to the housekeeping team for what they do to keep the rooms super clean. Great location. Tuk tuks always on standby outside to take you wherever you need to go. Airport shuttle was a great ammenity. A few cons: the breakfast was a little disappointing only because they do not keep the food warm after it is put out. Room doors do not block hall way sounds at all so it's pretty loud at times. There was no laundry service on site. Had to turn in laundry to the front desk so they could take it to an offsite facility. Laundry came back still dirty so that was a waste of money. Staff will get you in a tuk tuk outside if you need to go anywhere in the city. However, they negotiate with the driver "foreigner inflation" costs. DO NOT except more than $2.00 to go anywhere in the city despite what the staff or driver negotiate (normally $3.00). Get the Grab app to order tuk tuks. I definitely recommend this hotel if you plan to visit the area. I would stay here again in the future. Hotel staff also provided great service, changing rooms for us when requested and recommended a nice Thai cafe (Bun’s cafe) located just 350m away from the hotel. They even arranged an airport drop off for us for free.
