Upon check in, room smelled like sewage. Asked for another room, this time placed into a room that smells like cigarettes. White sheets with visible stains. mosquitos everywhere. Poorly stocked amenities, no toilet paper or shower gel. NOT a 4* property.

Fantastic designed rooms right on the riverside
A real nice modern large room with contemporary design and all comforts one can think of. Only problem was they were not able to fix the hot water supply in the shower. It was Luke warm not hot.

We had arrived very late due to a delayed flight. Furthermore, we had lost our wallet and had to call internationally to inform our banks. The staff was extremely helpful, allowing us to use his own personal phone to call. The room was extremely clean and felt great.

This hotel had a great location. I was originally booked into the Standard room which had many issues. (leaky shower, smelly fridge & belonging got locked into the safe many times). The bed was also very hard & uncomfortable. Staff were ok. I asked to change rooms, & was told none were available. I contacted my travel agent who then was able to request that I was upgraded to the suite. Suite was much larger & definitely a lot better than the standard room! After the room change, the staff were then very lovely & helpful.

Better than other others in the area.
Nice beak and view for business travel. Only book the bigger room or you won’t be happy. This hotel room need more lights. Pretty dark as the lights are only in one end. Of the long room and none in the bathroom.

Great Location and wonderful staff.
Great location and super-friendly and attentive staff make this place a winner. Rooms are contemporary, but in deed of a bit of a refurbishment, but for the price and the location, they are one of my go-to's in PNH.

Mosquito-infested, ill-maintained, filthy hotel
This hotel is so dirty, so infested with mosquitoes, so rundown, that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The stuff are bored and tired and couldn't care less, and repeated requests to clean or treat the place for mosquitoes, leave you being treated like you are a difficult nag. To top it off, I came back one day to my room and found a smashed soap dispenser on the shower floor, and they without my consent and fraudulently charged my credit card $20 for it. Their are plenty of nice waterfront hotels in Phnom Penh. Take your pick can stay elsewhere.

Good location, okay rooms
Location: Perfect, across the street from the river and just a block away from the palace/silver pagoda. Walking distance to Wat Penh. Rooms: Very, very loud. We were in the back and could hear everything in the hallway, the blasting TV next door as well as what sounded like a dog fight for a couple hours during the night - and that was with ear plugs in. The room itself is nice looking, but everything appears like it was put in by an amateur. Breakfast: Decent, variety of options. Rooftop: Nice and underrated in other reviews! The pool is very lovely, if a little cold in January, and the view is perfect overlooking the river. The bar was in fact open (starting @ 5 pm) and the staff helpful. We had the top to ourselves both Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon when we were looking to escape the heat. There was no scum to be found and it was perfectly clean. Staff: Helpful with arranging airport pickup/tuk tuks, if not a little pushy for booking tours through them (killing field anyone?). They would not give us restaurant recommendations, telling us that we could make our own choice, which I found to be odd as we had just arrived to the city. Our taxi driver from the airport said the same thing and told us he did not like the city, again which seemed odd. Food: Decent western food and drinks. Drinks are reasonably priced while food is not. You get a minor discount upon checking in which helps.

You've got The Quay, I've got the secret
Quite a nice little hotel, all the staff were very helpful. They offer a airport shuttle service for $15, believe me - take it. The roads are crazy and $15 was a steal. Breakfast was fine, especially considering it's included in the price. Wifi was ok, nothing amazing but could stream. Lots of mosquitos, mainly in the bathroom, oddly. There was burner next to the bed, but I had nothing to light it with. Happily I already had spray. The hotel is facing the waterfront, so there is traffic noise ALL night. Bathroom area was great with a deep bath and excellent separate shower area. The towels smelt really nice. Only real downside was being told I had taken a bottle of water from the mini bar, that I hadn't. Only $3 but kind of annoying.

Room with a view
One of the best spots in the city, right on the river front. Views from the room are breathtaking. You want the front facing rooms, with a balcony. Sitting up there you can sip some wine after a hard day running around the city. We go often for business and this is the perfect place to unwind after work. Huge added bonus is the breakfast in bed service they provide as part of the room deal. Everything is right outside; Bars, cafes, restaurants, shopping etc.

A good hotel in a convenient location
The Quay Boutique Hotel is a good hotel with a nice riverside location. The staff are excellent and very helpful. The hotel suffers from competition in the area, but for the price, it is a very good option.

Great location, views over the river and in the center of where you want to be. I have stayed in 12 different hotels in Phnom Penh and now, this is the only one I will be staying in. Great hotel, I really recommend it

The Wrong Time of the Year?
Went on a required exit-entrance for my Vietnam visa to Cambodia, and walked right into Cambodian New Year without realizing it. Many things were shut-down, or slowed-down, as a result. Despite this inconvenience for non-Cambodians the hotel was still a pleasant stay and I would recommend it for others. It is right in the best in part of Phnom Penh, with the palace right down the street, the night market right up the street, and the Tonle Basac leading to the Mekong right out the window,

Great Design. The rooms are really interesting and unusual. Very nice layout. The bathroom is spectacular and the work bench area is truly useful. Also the room has plenty of power outlets just where you need them. The Architect and Owner did a very good job

The hotel was immaculately clean and all staff members professional and polite. The breakfast was excellent with wide choices available. From what I observed the hotel is one of the finer offerings in Siem Reap.

If all you want is a bed.
The room is pretty much just a bed and couch. No table for laptop or anything. No drawers. Bed not comfortable, and the pillows horrible. Have stayed here before, and was disappointed this time. The breakfast was good. Restaurant lunch expensive by Cambodian standards. It was simply "somewhere to sleep".

Room was in poor condition - there was no normal windows and was told I needed to book a suite for a river view - I might have considered in i knew of the condfition of the room I booked. Water from the shower seeped out of the bath area. The room was dark

Standard Room has no desk and toothbrush
This hotel is easy to miss if you are looking for it because there's no bright sign at night and they turn all the lights off. It's located next to the Ibiza Lounge. The Standard room looked nice, but there's no desk to work from, so you either have to work from your bed, or put your laptop on the Sofa and sit on the floor. I was surprised to discover they did not include toothbrushes in the room, I had brought my own, so it wasn't a big issue for me, but most 4 Star hotels include toothbrushes. The room has two bathrobes, which is a nice touch. There were two little windowed slits on the walls that served as outdoor light, but I would not consider them real windows with a view. Next door, there's a 24 hour Belgian restaurant that serves great food. Exit the hotel, turn left and you'll be in the red light district in two or three blocks. You do get a free welcome drink, I chose wine the next morning.

Overall ok but too many mosquitoes
Everything was pretty good with this hotel. The first issue are that there is only 1 lift and it is very small. This meant there was sometimes a longer than usual wait for it and could only get 3 people at a push in there. The other thing was the room had mosquitoes in it. As soon as I had checked in I asked reception to have the room sprayed. That night I got bitten several times so asked reception to spray the room again. I cannot believe that the room was sprayed on either occasion as mosquitoes were still evident so I went to the shop and bought some Raid and sprayed the room myself regularly. I saw that housekeeping leave the door and patio door open whilst cleaning which of course lets insects back into the room everyday.

We were on a business trip, and my husband was sick, so we had to stay 3 nights at the standard room. Otherwise, I would have demanded a refund for the room. It was not cheap, and the room must have been the worst I have seen yet. The room had no windows, had no chairs, had a bad staled smell, the sheets were dirty and smelly , the mattress was the cheapest one,. When asked the staff to make up the room, they simply just reorganized the sheets! We had to request the change of sheets. We realized after all that they never changed the sheets after previous guests left, but just tide them up. Towels were smelling, I'm not sure they were washing them or simply just drying them. The stench of towels was appaling. This room should be rated as a 1 star.

Boutique pearl on waterfront
Great design oriented hotel, right in the middle of riverfront, with easy access to restaurant, bars, royal palaces etc. Roof top bar was closed, would have nice view. Great interiors. Comfortable rooms.
