Is located in a quiet neighborhood and requires a drive to go out to the beach or for dinner or other activities. Hosts were very gracious. They even invited us to their christmas dinner. Road leading to it is pretty steep in places but its St Maarten for you. Google maps takes you to the right street but wrong place in the street though. We were lost for abit but the entire neighborhood stepped in to help us find the place. Very sweet gesture. Tip for future visitors. Drive all the way down on the street and the house is the last one on the street. If you dont mind a bit strenous hike or about 15 mins. Thank goodness for Google maps (even on airplane mode) and the kindness of strangers. I have found the bus and taxi system very difficult to use here. I would highly suggest taking the host’s advice and rent a car. That said, this place is gorgeous! It is like living in a luxury apartment. Two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, plenty of space to store your things, a chef’s stove, beautiful patio to enjoy, views of Saint Barth’s, and a friendly resident dog. It is also right where the coastal trail runs. The host even shared a delicious local dish and recipe with me. Great stay! ##### Suzanne B.
