To the left, we caught a bit of the sunrise, and to the right, a stunning sunset over Fort Amsterdam.The condo was spotless, on the 2nd floor with a small elevator (and wide stairs). The fully equipped kitchen had both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker. Body soap and hand soap in bathrooms. Hair dryer. The washer and dryer worked great. Bath towels were high-quality, and beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella were provided. Beds were very comfortable. Individual AC in each room kept everyone comfy!The front balcony faced a quiet street at night, while the back balcony was oceanfront. This location is at the far end of the beach, away from cruise ships. They arrive around 8 AM, but most people don’t come this far, so the beach remained peaceful.We rented a car to explore the island but found we loved Great Bay Beach the most—it was the calmest.Matthew was attentive, communicated well, and responded quickly to questions. Parking was easy, with a reserved spot behind the condo gates. The building had a locked keypad entry, and we always felt very safe—both at the condo and throughout the island.A short boardwalk leads to the cruise ship area, where vendors are open during the day but close by 5 PM. The area is quiet at night, with only a few restaurants open.
