The room and hallways smelled like cigarettes and here were cigarette burns in the blankets, even though we requested a non-smoker room. The staff was better than in some other places, but we still didn't feel quite welcomed.

Drug infested Motel

Posted 4-Jan-2018
Pros: Desk receptionist was outstanding to get me in a room earlier than expected.
Cons: Fix locks and get rid of the drug dealers.
Location: Not much nearby. Plaza within walking distance but NOT SAFE AT NIGHT!!!!
Exterior door locks with card only access were broken off the door so that the public could enter rear of facility and purchase drugs down the hall from my room. Smell of marijuana was strong at times. Noise all through the night.

Race Weekend Hotel

Posted 24-Nov-2017
Pros: Decent neighborhood and 25 mins to downtown
Cons: The smell of cigarette smoke. Fitting felt or weather stripping in the door frame would block out the light and noise from the hallway.
Location: If you're running the marathon this is an economical alternative to downtown where rooms were 4-5 times more.
It took about 25 mins to get downtown via the I95. The hotel looked pretty good for a Motel 6. The staff at the front desk where efficient and cordial. The room wasn't bad and everything was clean but the smell of stale cigarette smoke was overwhelming in the hall way of our non-smoking wing. Unfortunately we found that to be the same in our non-smoking room. Light (and the smoke) streamed in with the door closed. If this was fixed we'd stay again! There was a fridge, the mattresses were decent but the TV is now small (32").

Not worth the price for what it provides

Posted 22-Nov-2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: More concern for the customers by providing better facility maintenance!
Location: Location is fine including being within easy walking distance from stores.
I checked into my room (207) and noticed that it at least was clean. The lamp by the bed when turned on provided my entertainment when it issued arches, sparks and popping. This was due to the fixture being broken and hanging inside the lamp with the wiring exposed. I called the staff in the morning after waiting at the front desk for too long for the desk attendant to finish with another customer and I was running late for work. I was told over the phone that they would check out the lamp and they might have me move to another room. I returned in the evening and asked if I required to move and the desk attendant had no record of anything in his files. I got to the room and found that nothing had been done to the lamp. I then attempted to use the microwave because I had eaten nothing all day up to the evening and found that the glass turntable was not the proper one for the microwave. I was told that I could move to the next room (207) which I did and I noticed that the microwave glass turntable was the proper one for the microwave. I did not use the microwave because at this time I was weary for my efforts. I will say that the shower curtain bar for the tube was coming out of the wall, was badly bent and barely hanging the curtain. The level of maintenance in this facility is extremely poor being made evident by the conditions of the rooms.

Not that bad

Posted 20-Nov-2017
Pros: convenience to food shopping
Cons: needs total upgrade, older motel, big though
Location: on major rt. , rt 1 south near shopping about 2.5 miles to casino, plenty of eats
the lobby area looks very nice, this is an older motel,(old hojo) but the rooms were like stepping back in time except for the tv lol, the furniture was looking as it was at hojo and the bed was an older bed, comfy but older, could be a nice place if it had a total makeover

Room smelled awful. Bed sheets were dirty. There were random women walking around constantly harassing you I’m pretty sure they were prostitutes

TERRIBLE

Posted 16-Oct-2017 on Hotels
Do not stay here. Disgusting and dirty. Floor around AC was wet. Room smelled of mold and mildew. Ended up leaving in the middle of the night because I couldn’t breathe. Day and a half later I’m still suffering. Don’t do it. Hotels.com should even do business with this pit.
