Past the living room you will see our dining area, which is a great setting for you and your family and friends to enjoy a home cooked meal from our kitchen. Flowing through the open concept first floor of the home past the dining room into our kitchen, you will find custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, coffee maker, and plenty of cookware, silverware, and cooking essentials for you to enjoy a relaxing dinner at home. Step through our kitchen and into our mudroom at the rear of the house which also is perfect for a work desk set up, which is provided. The laundry area is also conveniently located here, as well as a powder room for your comfort. After the mudroom you can step out into our spacious private patio, complete with charcoal grill, nice sitting area, and string lights for night time ambiance. Returning inside and through the kitchen walk down the basement stairs into our game room and tv area- great for kids and complete with TV, foosball, arcade games and board games! A cozy spot to spend time with your family. Continuing back upstairs to the second floor, you will find 3 spacious bedrooms. The back bedroom houses a comfy full size mattress, great closet space, and wall mounted smart TV. You can walk down the hallway and pass the hallway bathroom with beautiful marble tile, tub and shower combo, luxury fixtures, bodywash, shampoo, and conditioner provided. As you walk further toward the front of the house you will see the middle bedroom with full size bed, Roku smart tv, and sitting area. Exiting the middle bedroom and walking to the right, you will hit the master bedroom, perfect for couples with a comfortable queen size memory foam mattress sitting area, plenty of closet space, and gorgeous en-suite bathroom with huge walk in shower, modern tile work, and designer fixtures. Of course, bodywash, shampoo, and conditioner are provided! We provide our parking recommendations as a starting point for those who have not visited the city, but please know that unfortunately we can't guarantee a spot. Please be sure to check all parking signs closely because they change often. This is just a suggestion as we want to make sure we make your trip as easy as possible! For tourists the hop-on, hop-off stop is two blocks away! Our location is very walkable & convenient! Close public transportation options: \-30th St Train Station: Philadelphia's main train station, including Amtrak and other rail lines. The location was absolutely perfect. There were a ton of fantastic restaurants close by within walking distance and the drive to the center was only 18 minutes. Mostly used house for downtime… slept 5 adults comfortablely but we did use a borrowed blow up bed. Enough space in living room to all gather to watch tv. The house was very spacious and met our needs for a family of five. I'm glad that they had a high chair and pack and play available for use. I think we were the first guests at this house and Gabe and Jon were very responsive to requests for a few missing kitchen items, even ordering them for next day delivery! The location is very convenient and most of the time we were able to find street parking within a block, in 5-10 minutes. Since they had never been to the city before, we thought it would be a great opportunity to show them around. The house exceeded our expectations in every way; it was impeccably clean, well-maintained, and situated in an ideal location. The hosts were exceptionally hospitable. There are numerous excellent restaurants within walking distance, offering a diverse array of cuisines. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we look forward to returning. ##### Freddie E. We loved the location in Fairmount. It was walkable to the bus lines that we used to get around the city. We were concerned that we would not be able to find parking, but we found parking on the street everyday even when we returned late. The space was clean and the owners checked in on our first day. I had a question about one shower. They responded within minutes. The shower needed a repair and they were able to fix it the same day with updates on the progress throughout the day. They were really invested in our stay being comfortable and hassle free. ##### Courtney R. Two adults with an 18, 19 and 20 year old. There was plenty of room for us all. The house was very clean and the restrooms/shower were wonderful. The beds were comfortable. The game room was an extra bonus space where we liked to have Pac Man competition at the end of the day!! We walked to several restaurants during our stay. We had a car rental. I thought it would be tough to find on street parking as a lot of cars are parked on the street, but no matter the time of day, even late at night, we were always able to get a spot close to the house. We walked in to a very clean, spacious, non-cluttered and cool home! Our family of 6 stayed here for two nights as we were in town for a family wedding. We were able to do some sightseeing on foot as well. We had brought food to prepare for breakfast and I felt comfortable working in the kitchen because it was super clean! The home is very tastefully decorated and it was comforting to see extra trash bags, paper towels, soap, shampoo, etc. There were also stand up fans in every bedroom and an ironing board and a clothing steamer. The neighborhood is quaint and very safe. At no time did we ever feel uncomfortable. Gabe was easy to communicate with and always available if needed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! It is located in Fairmount on a wonderful street with no limitation on parking duration. We were able to find a close parking space each day after returning from either treatments at the Perelman center (only 18 minutes away by car going straight down 21st street and across Walnut to 34th), or from our adventures sightseeing in Phili. The house is spotless and extremely comfortable. We can highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an alternative to staying at one of the hotels downtown close to the hospitals. It was also extremely easy to reach out and get answers to any questions including an alternative way to connect to the WiFi when the first connection failed to work as plan. Since we are also walkers, we were able to walk to the Old City and back again to this house when the weather was nice. It is quite safe to do and is only around 2 1/2 miles away.
