I chose this hotel because it was conveniently between Bordeux and the Pyrenees. It was easy to access. The reception were accommodating when I was very late (10.50pm!). The room was clean and comfortable. However, the was no kettle in the room and the plastic key broke. The room was a little noisy, being near the main road.

The room was large and immaculate. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a chance to dine in the hotel and my meal was fabulous. Would definitely recommend!

Horrible small pokey room .. couldn’t believe they would offer ..intercontinental shouldn’t give their name to it.. they gave me an upgrade which was a little better… old carpets , very old scratched furniture..no excuse ..no idea alternatives In Bordeaux but certainly would avoid this hotel.

Our hotel stay was enjoyable and relaxing.
Bazas is 10 mins walk and offers lots of historic buildings, plenty of dining options. Be careful to check restaurant openings in advance as many choose to close on the same weekdays.
