The perfect Petropolis hotel for an elegant stay
A gorgeous, comfortable and unique hotel located in the heart of historic Petropolis. It gets a 10 out of 10 from me and my family!

Superb experience . Professional staff, attentive at all times . We had an issue with the car and they were very hands on . Security was excellent . Felt safe . Breakfast delicious and the young lady who waited on us so nice and professional. Wonderful place.

The ambiance and the location of the hotel were perfect. The grounds were impeccable. Breakfast was delicious and served in a beautifully decorated ornate salon. Would definitely stay here again!

Colonial hotel beautiful
Beautiful historic hotel in the center of Petropolis. I would highly recommend this hotel. For the cost, its picturesque. Every room has character. Enjoy the grounds and walk around the friendly town!

Fantastic old-world elegance
We love these kinds of old-fashioned, elegant hotels - hotel & room were in excellent condition, staff was very friendly, king bed was super comfy, excellent dinner in the Leopoldina restaurant - even though nearly empty, we enjoyed dinner very much. Beautiful dining room for breakfast. Good value for the price - not cheap, but worth it. We had a "suite" which isn't a suite at all - just the biggest rooms they have. Other reviews mention that the ground floor rooms are damp & dark - I didn't look in any, but could imagine that. Rooms upstairs don't cost a lot more - it's worth it I think. There seemed a number of negative reviews on websites and my expectations were a bit low - I was pleasantly surprised at how great I thought the hotel was.

This is a beautiful historic hotel. The grounds are nice. Breakfast was outstanding - a real highlight. Service was excellent and the staff speak engliish, which was helpful for a couple gringos like us.

Alguns pontos importantes: Localização: Muito bem localizada, próxima a Igreja de São Pedro Alcântara, restaurantes, mercados, museus, enfim muito bem localizada mesmo da pra fazer muita coisa a pé. Pousada: Começo pela acessibilidade que ela deixa a desejar, se for com criança de carrinho ou cadeirante fica mais complicado a locomoção dentro da pousada. Quarto é bem confortável, só poderia avisar na hora da reserva que tem quartos que ficam no anexo, isso não fica claro na reserva, porém o quarto do anexo tbm é muito bom, piscina próximo e fica bem perto da casa principal. Café da manhã muito bom mesmo vc pode fazer vários pedidos de comidas que fazem na hora, como pão com recheio, panqueca, tapioca, entre outros. Restaurante pedimos hambúrguer com batata frita e brownie, estavam maravilhosos entregaram no quarto com uma bandeja muito bonita para comer na cama tranquilo. Voltaria no hotel com certeza, pois a localização é excelente, comida, quarto bem confortável, atendimento é bom e o charme do hotel é o carro chefe.

Sendo bem sincera: hotel lindo, otima localização. Porem o staff é antipatico. Muitp estranho na verdade. Durante o check in ninguem nos acompanhou ate a recepção, no cafe da manha foram muitp antipaticos. No check out foram antipaticos novamente. Cheguei ate a pensar que era pelo fato de estarmos com criança, mas nao eramos os unicos e tem.ate estrutura para receber crianças como cadeirao de refeicao e roupao infabtil para piscina. Nao é a primeira fez que escolho um hotel pelo roteiro se charme e me decepciono. Fiquei em.outros 3 hoteis nessa mesma viagem no Rio de Janeiro e esse foi o unico que nao fui bem atendida.

Fim de semana em Petrópolis
Excelente hotel; bem localizado, confortável, tranquilo e acolhedor. Equipe de colaboradores dedicada; cama confortável e grande; quarto amplo, restaurante muito bom. O prédio é de 1875, mas muito bem conservado. A piscina aquecida é um diferencial. Gostamos muito!!!!
