The king bed was great for sleeping and the shower good. There was a lot of work being done on the roads but we were able to navigate that. The cottage is about 7 blocks from the lake and downtown. Boyne City is a wonderful spot on its own. And we drove to Boyne Mountain to walk the bridge and enjoy the amenities. It really was wonderful. Beautiful area. Neighborhood quiet. We walked into town for the Friday night stroll on State. It was perfect. And the house itself had everything we needed. And snacks! And cold water in fridge! Thank you! We cooked our dinners in the well stocked kitchen and brewed coffee in the mornings. Did a load of laundry before leaving. Near the lovely restaurants, etc., in town as well. Property managers are hospitality-minded with welcoming and helpful amenities from providing snacks and coffee supplies, to recommendations for local attractions, to electric blankets on the beds (big hit with out 8-year-old), to quickly answering texts and communicating proactively.
