Liked the dinette and screened in porch. Almost like being at the cottage. Very quaint. Great water pressure in the shower. Comfy beds. Very nice stay.

Had it's pros and cons.
This is truly a lovely Inn. It's warm and inviting, the rooms are large and the property is beautiful to explore. We didn't see many staff members due to covid restrictions but they corresponded well through email and it certainly felt like they would be easy to reach ad accommodating had we had any issues arise. The Inn is a little dated. There were several areas where the walls were scuffed/damaged and though it was charming, it had a dated feel to it. The bed was not particularly comfortable and I was not happy that it was the end of October and 0 degrees outside but they hadn't turned the fireplaces on yet, which was certainly a disappointment given that it was a main selling feature of the room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay ad would likely go back again.

Just a little disturbed that someone was in the room - closet doors wide open and I'd never touched the closet during my stay. Information noted that no one would be in the room and towel service was at the door, if you requested it. I did not request it!

Very nice Inn - modern yet rustic. Good location for areas we wanted to visit. The AC was in fahrenheit and didn't seem to read the temperature in the room accurately.

Stayed for the weekend on 2nd floor and had access to big shared terrace & bbq. Free kayaks to get out and see the falls. Super staff - front desk, marina and especially Debbie our server. Great food. Would bring a boat next time.

Right on the lake. Bar b que’s outside fridge and microwave in room. Beautiful property with little path in trees by lake with picnic tables. Burleigh Falls is so beautiful.

What makes this property unique is where it is situated - can’t beat the landscape - rocks, water and, in the fall, fabulous colours. The entrance way to the Inn was decorated for the season. Once inside, there is lots of charm which one would expect from the vintage of this Inn. The beds are very comfy and there is a certain charm with each room, but there is room for some updating particularly in the bathrooms. My bathroom floor had a number of stains which probably can’t be cleaned. Also found some serious cobwebs on the light by the bed!! Just needs some TLC to keep its rating where it should be,

The surroundings, the clear air, and the scenery all are what I like. Beds are comfortable unlike other motels. If anything to improve, please check wall plugs (suite #8) because I noted half of them did not have power.

Gorgeous area!
Amazingly beautiful location! So many options for fun here. They rent sea doos and canoes. We were very pleased to be able to launch our Waverunner, which we had brought with us and then for a small fee keep it at one of the docks on the property. It is definitely a place we hope to return to!

I found that for the price I paid for a two day stay was way too much. At least a continental breakfast should be included. The pool was nice but there was really nothing else around the area of the inn. We had to drive at least 15 to 20 minutes for breakfast. My husband booked this inn, i would not of.

We are sorry you didn't find the Inn to your liking but are happy to see you were still able to enjoy your stay. The Inn is located in a rurual area, and therefore most "attractions" are a driving distance. However , onsite during the summer guests can enjoy conveniences such as rentals right on site of Canoes, Kayaks, Paddle boats, Paddle Boards, Jet Skis, Pontoon Boats and fishing boats. Our bait shop offers rentals for fishing poles and lots of bait for a fishing adventure. The falls provide a great "thrill" for those who want to spend an afternoon in it's whrilpools. and the pool as your mentioned is a great end to the day. Although our restaurant doesn't serve breakfast midweek. on site , we do have a great spot right next door (5min walk) open daily so there was no need for a 15 min drive although the local villages do offer great dining spots too. Let me start with the good things. The location of the inn is great, right next to the lake. The reception desk was nice and friendly. The guys at the bait store were very helpful. But the facilities and condition of the cottage (one of the two we stayed in) were really poor, desperately need renovation. It stank so much that every time I entered it I had to hold my breath. The curtains and windows cannot open and close properly, bugs were everywhere. Also, the front desk lady when we checked in first told us they cleaned up one cottage which had not been used for a while, so that we could have two cottages next to each other ( that’s very considerate of them). But when I checked out and told the other front desk lady about the smell, she made it sound like it has always been occupied by guests and I was the only one who raised this issue.

Bar selection sucks, toilet paper is 1 ply, they ran out of steaks even though it's on the menu on a Saturday night when it was full. The kitchen and bar both close at 8pm. Other then that everything else was great.

We are sorry you didn't enjoy the restaurant, unfortunately yes we did run out of some items after an extremely busy day, I do know that the Chef had a great alternative Feature on to replace. Not sure what you were looking for as far as bar selections , we are actually pretty happy that we offer one of the largest selections of specialty and craft beer in the area, and we can traditionally make any cocktail guests are looking for. The 1ply unfortunately, is due ot our water treatment plant - the plant cannot breakdown anything else, so to maintain our high environmental standard it is necessary to use the 1ply.
