« The walls were dirty, the food out couch and bunks were dirty, and the bunk bed was so wobbly we did not feel safe using it. We arrived after dark and the street was pitch black and no lights were on the house, so it was uncomfortable to approach and make sure we were even at the right address. It lists a washer and dryer- they were in an exterior building and absolutely disgusting. It was extremely overpriced for the quality we encountered. »

The historical restoration of the home by Gerry and Jenny was incredbile while their most accomodating welcome to our late arrival was greatly appreciated. « It's a very old motel. If you're looking for somewhere cheap just to lay your head it's the spot. Had to wear shower shoes and had to run to the dollar store for clean towels. The bed was comfortable lol... it's cheap, so u get what you pay for. »

« Our family of 5 were well accommodated at this lovely appointed home. We had everything we needed for sleeping comfortably and making our meals. Bring salt and pepper lol. What we found to be the best part, other than its quaint charm, was the fabulous location. Mintues from the outdoor all purpose arena. And the zoo was a short 5 minutes away. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Great communication with the host. I highly recommend this place and we will return. Best regards! »
