We had a very comfortable stay here as a family of four. The apartment is extremely spacious, which gave everyone plenty of room, and the location is excellent. The beautiful view of St. Stephen’s Basilica from the apartment was definitely a highlight.
The apartment itself is a little dated, so there are some creaky floorboards and doors, and the water pressure in the shower is quite low. Also, because you are so close to the basilica, the bells begin ringing around 7:30 a.m. and continue every half hour, so this may not be the best choice if you’re hoping to sleep in.
That said, these things did not take away from our overall experience. The location is incredibly convenient, with plenty of shops, cafés, restaurants, and a supermarket nearby, and it’s a great base for exploring Budapest on foot. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment, especially for families looking for lots of space in a beautiful and very central location.
