This is a beautiful place to stay, food is incredible especially the gnocchi. Very comfortable and clean to stay and the staff was super friendly! Good locks on doors and felt very safe. I Was worried because I got there super late and they were able to check me in. Definitely staying here again next time I’m here.

The hotel has a big and nice garden perfectly kept. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was plenty and delicious.

Cosy stay
It’s a cozy stay in little town in italy. If you aren’t expecting a modern hotel, you will enjoy your stay so much! The interior of hotel is quite elegant and a bit country feeling. I enjoyed the stay.

Very nice hotel.
Great Hotel. The bathroom is a little small. Hotel kind of isolated, but the restaurant was awesome, the grounds are beautiful and the prices were all reasonable.

Lovely Friendly Staff
Our host Francesca was wonderful and really went out of her way to make you feel welcome. we only stayed one night but had the pool area to ourselves in the afternoon and enjoyed a lovely meal in the evening overlooking the gardens. Very pleasant! Would definitely consider again!

GPS had trouble finding addesss & it doesn't look like a hotel from the street but it was a great stay. The staff were very accomodating & the back of the hotel reveals a large propety overlooking the countryside.

We have found a gem.
My wife and I stumbled onto this hotel when in need of a last minute room due to an itinerary change. We loved this place so much that it is now on our list of places that we must return to. Very peaceful location. The owner (Francesca?) was outstanding and provided very personal attention. It is apparent that she loves what she does. Be sure to eat dinner at the hotel and sample the wine from their own family vineyard. The menu is small but the ingredients are all fresh and delicious. We had an amazing meal.

A family run gem
We loved our stay here. The hotel and huge grounds are beautiful and peaceful. We stayed for a couple of days to explore the nearby towns and villages and would definitely come back again.

Great hotel with wonderful hospitality and service
We had a wonderful four-night stay here in this beautiful hotel and setting. The service was great and the food was excellent. It's a family-run hotel and they made us feel like we were part of the family. They're beautiful people and do everything that they can to help you enjoy your stay. It really should be listed as a four-star hotel! It was a great experience!

Bad location spooky rooms. The only good thing I can say was Iliana at the front desk tried really hard to convince us to stay longer then one night by switching us to a upper suite. She was a sweet heart but by the morning we just decide to leave it was far away from everything

Una bella struttura immersa nel verde. Tutto bene curato e il personale gentile . Solo una pecca.. il cibo! Abbiamo fatto colazione, pranzo e cena ma la qualità non era buona. Peccato!

Proche du lac Trasimeno
Bel hotel avec jardin et terrasse. Belle literie, bon petit déjeuné. Chambre avec une grande armoire où l'on peut mettre la valise pr une fois. A quelques kilomètre du Lago Trasimeno. Séjour un peu gaché en cette mi-mai fraiche car le chauffage était à fond sans possibilité de le baisser.

Ikke som forventet
Poolen var lukket og så ud til ikke at have været i brug i længere tid. Liggestole var der heller ikke så vi havde ingen muligheder for at ligge udenfor i haven selvom der var 28 grader. Morgenmaden var kedelig og hele hotellet virkede forladt.

Appena arrivati ci siamo resi conto della bellezza della struttura, del giardino e la cura minuziosa di ogni particolare. Anche la camera non ha deluso le aspettative. Il bagno è spaziosio, pulitissimo e dotato di ogni comfort. La ciliegina sulla torta è la sala ristorante/colazione, una splendida veranda con vista sul giardino. La varietà di torte fatte in casa per la colazione, ci ha piacevolmente sorpreso.

Tolles Hotel und wunderschöne Anlage
Wenn Sie den Trasimeno See und Isola Maggiore besichtigen wollen ist dieses Hotel ein toller Startpunkt. Sehr große und grüne Anlage, die im Sommer Lust auf Mee(h)r macht. Wenn Sie abends nicht nochmal raus wollen können Sie sich ein Menü dazu buchen und sich abends verwöhnen lassen. Nachteil dieses Hotels sind die recht hellhörigen Zimmer, selbst der Fön der Nachbarin war zu hören. Alles in allem ein toller Service und die Herrschaften waren sehr kundenfreundlich.

ein sehr schönes hotel mit perfektem service. das täglich wechselnde abendmenue ist nicht zu übertreffen. wir sind seit jahrzehnten mehrmals in jedem jahr in italien. nirgends haben wir uns wohler gefühlt und besser gegessen. passend dazu war der wein absolut top und sehr günstig. sicher ist: da werden wir in zukunft öfter sein und freuen uns schon jetzt darauf.

hotel ottimo con arredamento in stile assai ricercato e curato. bellissimo il giardino (anzi parco) di prati ed ulivi a disposizione degli ospiti.Ideale come base per gite in centri umbri ed in bassa toscana- Colazioni buone e variegate con torte fatte in casa. Un pò cara la cena (qualora si utilizasse l'opzione di cenare lì.)

We had initially planned to stay at Locanda Poggioleone for three days but we ended up staying for a whole week because we loved it so much. The hotel is located a short drive from Castiglione Del Lago with a great view over lake Trasimeno. The hotel staff is very friendly and hospitable, the pool area is very nice and the rooms are nice & clean. Will definately come back to this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone.
