Good room size and enjoyed the access to the city. a little bit disturbed by noise in the middle of the night where It sounded like people were trying to get into the room.

Hotel is good. Area is now being inhabited by (harmless) homeless people. I suggest that the hotel should take a big picture view and consult with businesses nearby to form an action plan to help with this situation before it possibly gets out of control.

We have stayed at Mantra on Hay before, and we feel that the standard of the property was significantly lower than what we have previously experienced. The staff were absolutely lovely and very accommodating, but the facilities looked tired and worn out. The bed was comfortable and space was plentiful. Overall, our stay was ok, and there were no major issues, but I wouldn’t rush back. This is disappointing considering how great it once was.

The apartment needed a makeover, very dated with stain/marks in the bath tub. I requested a rubber bathmat (anti slip) to place in the shower/bath which did not eventuate. It also seemed too much of an effort to provide an electrical extension cord for a medical device, on my insistence a small power board was sourced from the maintenance department. Some of the staff could have been more helpful. The dining could have been more varied in the attached venue. My stay was over a week, there should have been more frequent basic housekeeping in place, like refreshed towels and bins emptied. I did not appreciate the total cost of the stay being debited to my credit card well before my signing in, there was no indication I was going to cancel the booking.

The room was dirty light switches were not clean they had dirty lines on them the complimentary tea coffee and sugar was not filled up Cigarette butts on the balcony on the floor by the drain just as you walk out the door curtains were broken nets were broken in the living room very poor

Had a great stay. The only problem i encountered was upon checkin i was asked if id like to pay for parking inside the hotel. I agreed and paid the $28/night. The first night i couldnt park my car as all of the bays were full. I spoke to reception and 1 nights parking fee was refunded

The property is a little tired. It needs a freshen up and an audit of each room. We didn't have light globes in some of our lamps. Apparently the check in time was moved an hour to 3pm however we received no notification of this. We then need to wait a further 45 mins for the room to be cleaned. It's a little outside the main city centre but this makes it closer to Optus stadium if you are attending for an event held there.

The property was smelly and not properly cleaned. The a/c worked poorly and so the rooms were stuffy. The light switches didn’t work in either of the bedrooms and so they were dark all the time. We will not stay there again.

For the first time staying, it was not really evident which building was the Mantra on Hay. The only sign visible was on the roof of the portico which is not visible from a car. However, we managed a front kerbside park and on getting out, went into a building to ask and found when going inside that it was indeed the Mantra on Hay. There is very faint branding on the glass electronic doors on entry. The general feeling was of a tired and well-used building and the empty restaurant/dining area adjacent to the front lobby left a slightly abandoned air to the place. Our 2 bedroom unit was reasonably clean, the bathroom though was in desperate need of refurbishment with the grout black in places instead of white. However, the beds were excellent and well made with white linens and quite fluffy towels. Most items you would need were supplied in the kitchen with adequate plates, cutlery and electrical appliances. The fridge was past its use-by-date though with the freezer unit frosted up and the dents and scratches on the outside of the door showing it had endured a long and difficult life! Two or three lights were in need of bulb replacements however there were plenty of lamps and lights that did work. The sliding glass door to the balcony was wide open when we arrived and I suspect this was to help air out the slightly musty, well-used smell ingrained into the carpets and furnishings. 3 night stay not impressed
The condition of the room is dated Louge chairs need a good steam clean very stained . The supply of tea coffee and sugar was so minimal 3 of teabags 3 of coffee and 6 sugar. As wedontdrink tea 3 coffee is not enough for 2 people for overnight stay with no breakfast options. I requested more from recepition and they gave me 3 coofee and 6 sugar. The next day iasked for more again this time i got 6 coffee and 10 sugar. I dont think this is acceptable for a 3 night stay. The coffee andsugar could only be supplied by management as house keeping did not have any. The are no internal food or beverage options and i did not know that coffee and sugar were an expenisive and rare products. You need to lift your game and provide a better servicefor your star rating and cost per night. Not happy with the cost cutting you seem to be doing and not thinking about your guests.

Great to have 2 bedroom apartment as an option for families, clean & comfortable. Central location, with secure undercover parking an option. Kids loved playing in the pool, it’s older and could do with a refresh but it’s pretty much an indoor area which is a bonus temp wise during cooler months.

The cleanliness of our room, specifically the bathroom was below what I’d expect. Mouldy grout and shower area, and also the bathroom sink didn’t drain well at all. The room was also extremely noisy, with some sort of air con/motor sound coming on and off all day long, and it wasn’t from our units. The apartment was spacious though and the beds were clean and comfy. The portacot was in pretty average condition too.

Stayed here for 5 nights in a two bed apartment. An extra single bed was placed right in front of the balcony sliding doors, preventing access so after furniture was rearranged, was squeezed into on of the bedrooms. No way this building meets code. No lights in the bedrooms, only side lamps, bathroom was dated, poor ventilation, both bedrooms had windows that could not be opened. Rubbish under bed from previous occupants. Reception staff were polite and very helpful. Bar breakfast room was closed?? (Covid) close to sporting venues, but rooms need a serious upgrade, as I’m sure there are better rooms around for the same price.
