It was welcoming and relaxing. The only thing we didn't like was that our stay was too short. You never know when you book a place, how you are going to like it. If I ever go back to Scotland I will stay here longer. The people working at the Sunbank House took such good care of us. If you stay here, please don't waste your time going to town to eat... we did and wished we hadn't. We did have one meal here and it was divine!

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was of an excellent standard and there was a good selection and the tea and coffee facilities in the room were very good including fresh bottled water.

Amazing food, staff and views. Location was near enough to Perth that you could walk in for dinner but also far enough away from the busy city.

Sunbank House is easily walkable to downtown Perth, and I feel preferable to staying downtown. There is even a quiet walk over a railway bridge (with safe pedestrian walkway). Even though located on a main road, our front facing room was eminently quiet, clean and spacious. Unable to decide on any downtown restaurants, had lunch at a pub recommended by our host, we opted for dinner at Sunbank, and the three of us were all impressed by the quality and modest cost of our meals. We can honestly recommend Sunbank House.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Sunbank House hotel when we came to Perth to celebrate a family wedding. The staff were all friendly and the breakfast was perfect.

Traditional, very comfortable accommodation where the owner clearly paid a lot of attention to detail. Breakfast was excellent and we didn’t have to make our own toast! Everything was to our liking.

Nice B&B experience. Comfortable rooms. Great hosts. Dinner looked amazing, but we booked last minute and it was too late. Breakfast was really good. We will use this as our home base next time. So much to see in and around Perth.

Due to the nature of the hotel and its character we have a couple of rooms where the bed size will remain at the uk standard double. This is primarily due to the room shape. Superb Family run hotel in lovely location
I booked for an overnight stay in the morning and made my way early evening. I was greeted by the perfect host then shown to my room, with him carrying my bag. I love this personal service, which you don't get at some of the larger impersonal hotels Breakfast, although I can't eat much, was excellent and they serve a great choice of local produce, catering for all diets. I hope to return for a longer stay.

Our room is as bright and clean. The bath was fantastic! Nice easy walk to Perth but on the other side of the river so a bit quieter. John and staff were lovely! Highly recommend.

Quiet, convenient and comfortable
Sunbank House offers a great location close to Perth City yet quiet with easy parking. Staff are always welcoming and helpful, and the breakfasts are delicious. Rooms are comfortable and clean and warm in a winter. It is always a pleasure to stay here.

this home away from home was a delightful surprise. The wonderful owners make you feel welcome. Their home cooked meals should have 5 stars. The place needs some updates, but is very clean and is very close to downtown Perth.

Room omfortable but carpets had been cleaned that day and on our return in the evening the room smelt of carpet cleaning chemicals.THe room was close to the main road so sleep was disturbed by traffic noise. Breakfast was good.
