The main bedroom has incredible views.I'm not a bird watcher, but with the binoculars in the drawer (4-5 pair) I enjoyed watching the birds: teal ducks, cranes, and many other birds that I don't know.The kitchen has beautiful dishes, pots and pans, and knives so no need to eat out unless you want.The three things are insufficient light, the hot water takes a whole to come on, and it's barely wheelchair/walker accessible. The wooden walk into the house is barely wide enough and slippery in rain. It also has two right angles to navigate. The whole back of the house is a bank of windows (living room and master bedroom). It feels private as your view is just your outdoor lounge area, dock, and the water. No big downsides (minorly need space for tooth brushes as the sinks are mostly the sink bowls). Everything was clean,and comfortable. In similar off the beaten path vrbo's we've had lower cleanliness or ants, but not here! The location was good for day trips within a 30-90 minute drive. ##### Diane Y. This place is great! This place is absolutely beautiful, both the house and the scenery. We had the unfortunate timing of being there during a hurricane, but it didn't matter. The house was spotless upon arrival, everything was very comfortable and fully stocked to anyone's needs. We were only 2 adults and 1 child but this house could fit many more easily. The surrounding area has some nice restaurants. The nice days we did have we spent catching loads and loads of fish and crabs from the dock. The neighbors were super kind, one even helped filet our catch so we could have it for dinner that night! We'll definitely be regulars here for the comfort, scenery, and relaxation. ##### Dan H. The sunrises from the deck or front windows are even better than the listing photo suggests! It's everything the other positive reviews highlight -- clean, comfortable, good communication, easy check-in. A very walkable (and friendly) little neighborhood and an easy drive to restaurants and shops in North East or Havre de Grace, Perryville Park, and Elk Neck State Park. The property is renovated and updated with modern amenities, and well-stocked with towels, toilet paper, soaps, and cleaning supplies. The first thing we noticed was how sparkling clean everything was! Great views, comfortable and ample seating for our family, and the option to hang outside whether at the picnic tables or down by the dock was really awesome and relaxing. My father-in-law caught 5 catfish in total right off the pier and will be talking about that for a loooong time! A big thanks to our host for being so communicative and flexible, offering early check-in and late check-out which can really reduce stress when you're planning for traffic and travel with little kids.
