Cheap and cheerful with a pool!

I stayed here with friends for three nights while in Penticton. I was impressed with how quiet and peaceful it was. The room itself was very clean and the bathroom in good condition. The bed was comfortable but the sofabed not so much. The kitchen was satisfactorily equipped and the BBQ and picnic area was a special bonus that we go a lot of use out of. The pool was clean with lots of seating. I would definitely visit again. Thank so much to our hosts, we had a great time! 😊

Cheap hotel that needs major refresh

I stayed at the hotel for one night as I was doing a triathlon in nearby Summerland area. The Swiss Sunset Inn is in dire need of an upgrade and refresh. I checked throughout the room to ensure it was clean and to ensure there were no bed bugs - unfortunately that was my first thought when I got into the room. The floor was stained. I would not stay here next time I visited the area.

Nice quiet place

Had a very relaxing stay. Enjoyed the pool. Had a great sleep. Had a great swim the next day. Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely visit again.

Won't be returning

Everything was ok until we woke up in the morning and tried to take a shower, the shower didn't work.. when my step mom went down to talk to someone about it there was no one around. So when we checked our a few hours later we tried to talk to them and they said we could use a different room, we had already packed up all of our stuff we weren't about to stay a couple extra hours for all 4 of us to shower and get ready again. So we asked for a partial refund and they said they don't give any refunds at all. Period. Did I mention we paid $205 for the room for an extremely sub par experience. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place.
