This beautifully appointed, clean, and inviting Banana Bay townhome is 2,170 square feet and has living areas both upstairs and downstairs so guests have plenty of room to stretch out. It is an expansive retreat offering a private inlet and a large white sandy beach for every type of vacationer to enjoy. Sunbathe and watch Perdido's boating community meander past or discover their fishing honey hole and catch dinner. It is also a great place to launch your kayak if you want to explore the shoreline or go visit the small islands. This is a gated community for peace of mind. There are safe sidewalks for bicycling or walking down to the public access on the Gulf of Mexico. You can enjoy the beach there or you might want to visit the nearby Gulf Islands National Seashore with 8 miles of undeveloped squeaky white beaches and sparkling emerald-colored water that stretches out to an endless horizon. Read, relax, or watch a movie on your 55" TV. You can send the kids or teens upstairs to do the same in their comfy living room. How does a cookout or a shrimp boil sound? Everything was clean but when jets in tubs were turned on black stuff came out. needs to be cleaned and sanitized. Across the street from the pool, 2 min walk to the private inlet beach, & lots of space in the condo for all 8 of us to spread out & relax. We will be coming back to this location. Everyone in our family had a blast & all of us said it was a great condo. There was so much to do in the area we didn't get it all done. If you are traveling with a lot of people there are a few things to keep in mind. Only 1 roll of toilet paper provided per bathroom for our stay. Maybe if we had called the manager's office they could have had more sent over. We did not try that though b/c the need was not known until 1 of the kids yelled that they were out. We were headed out anyway, so we just grabbed some. On the Walmart trip (less than 15 mins away) we grabbed paper towels, windex, dish soap, dishwasher soap, and laundry soap. Again only one roll of paper towels and they were the super cheap kind (also probably could have had another roll sent over, but we were already going to Wal-Mart). You need a way to clean up messes easily on vacation, windex & paper towels are a must! We only got 3 dish washer tabs at check in. For most families this is fine, but we were trying to save money by eating breakfast, lunch, and a few dinners in the condo. We had 8 at each meal so were running the dishwasher daily & would need more than 3 tabs. There was no dish soap at all. Unit has all the basic furnishings and everything was in working order. Very quiet location and easy to access. The neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. We could never get on the Wi-Fi but one of us had a hotspot. The only other negative was some trash was found under one of the beds and there was a dirty washcloth in one of the bathrooms. But, We would definitely come back! ##### Debbie E. Check in was not bad, but our keys were in another mailbox and I was on edge due to the long drive and just ready to unwind. I called the after hours number and was instantly given our gate code, and door code was easy fix! Signing of paper work next day quick and fast! Staff was very friendly! The home was clean but there were some spots that missed, easy fix being that I always clean upon entering any vacation home. Location and community is a perfect relaxation spot and short drive to the night life which I personally enjoyed! Plenty of room on the rental so my family of 6 would not be on top of each other actually more maybe 8 or 9 could fit plenty of beds to spare. Freebies offered were a huge plus with my family as well. I did bring more toilet paper, paper towel, seasoning, trash bags, dishwasher pods, and laundry soap. Some provide you with a day supply but I learned over the years it's better to be over prepared. The occupants included 3 adults, 2 teens and a toddler. Oh no need to bring anything for the beach as the closet downstairs has everything needed for the kids. If I'm not mistaken there is an umbrella, googles, floats etc. We had our own coolers due to having a diabetic son so I didn't check for a cooler. We did spend time at the private beach, pool and gym and just meeting the locals who live there (great people!)Great place you will not be disappointed at the Banana house!
