The condo was great! Only a 10 minute walk to the beach club (shuttle was pretty busy most days), very clean, way more than enough room for the six people we had. The pool/fitness center on the backside of the property was clean and accessible as well. Perdido Key is quiet (perfect), but the proximity to Pensacola Beach and Orange Beach allows for easy access to more dining and entertainment opportunities for the younger ones who may be along. It was very comfortable for my family. there was no noise from the adjacent dwellers. We traveled with a 2 month old and she loved it--slept through the night consistantly. I like to cook on vacation. I wish I would have brought a new fry pan, casserole dish, and crockpot. Nov 9, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Love Footloose We wanted to stay in Lost Key and chose Footloose from the other reviews and pictures and it was a great choice. It is nicely decorated and furnished and was very clean. The outdoor screened porch was a great spot for morning coffee or to read a book. The pool and gym were both very nice, as were the private beach, pool and restaurant across the street. The grill was not usable but that was taken care of very quickly with a phone call and a different grill was brought over the next morning. The only things that I felt were missing were beach towels and chairs. Although we did like the beach at Lost Key with the chairs and umbrellas, we would have liked to check out some of the other surrounding beaches and do not like sitting on the sand and Traveling by air did not allow space for beach towels. The other issue that we had was the dryer which I think was mentioned in another review. It was warm to the touch on the outside but did not dry very well at all. Even with the things mentioned, I would definitely stay at Footloose again if we are back in the Pensacola area. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks! ##### Lisa M. Pros and cons based on our experience. Located in a beautiful community which includes a beachfront clubhouse. An abundance of chaise lounge chairs and umbrellas set up on the beach just for Perdido Key guests. Golf, fitness room, and pool very nice. The screened in porch faces the ocean so you get the feeling of being at the beach as opposed to staying deeper in the community. Decided not to get a golf cart because you can’t drive on the main road and there is no parking for it at the beach. Taking the shuttle to and from the beach was the way to go. There are 2 air conditioners, downstairs stayed at a constant cool and comfortable temperature. Master bedroom was freezing, had to close the vents. Kids were all hot so we left the doors open to get adequate ventilation. Firm foam mattress in bedrooms which hugged every pressure point perfectly. Big master shower, high shower head, and strong water pressure. Washer and drier- a few days into our stay we washed our first load of towels only to find out that the drier is on its way out. It would not dry and needs to be fixed or replaced. We cooked several meals, dishes and silverware were very nice. Pots and pans were mostly old and worn and need to be replaced. Had to buy several utensils to prepare meal. Pulled sea shells and lime wedges out of garbage disposal, housekeeping should have caught this. Clean and pet friendly neighborhood. ##### Joanne H. The ocean breeze and breathtaking view from the unit are icing on the cake. The recliners added an extra touch of comfort. ITrip was incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. We ended up booking another place in Lost Key to extend our stay for work, and I already miss the view from this unit. My only regret is not having heated pools, but I think that’s the norm in this area during this time of year. However, the proximity to the beach is simply unmatched. Not too far of a walk from the beach but there is a shuttle that will take you to the beach if you choose. My family and I are already talking about planning another trip. What would have been a little nicer would be more hooks in the bathroom- behind the doors for towels and swimsuits and a towel hook for the hand towels. There are shelves for belongings but dressers would have been better. Plenty of room for family or friends. The location is everything. Sit on the back porch and look across to the ocean. Only a .5 mile walk to the beach, but a shuttle is available if you prefer to ride. Once you arrive on the beach, be sure to take advantage of the Beach Club amenities. Four lounge chairs and two umbrellas are waiting for you. Access to clean bathrooms. A full bar and restaurant. And a pool! I would highly recommend this townhouse to family and friends.
