Average hotel. Cleanliness in the room is OK, we did find a used q-tip on the floor, trash was not emptied, LOTS of boogers on the walls. I can say with confidence we did NOT come across any type of bugs inside the room (bed bugs, roaches, ants, etc) which is the most important thing for us, especially when traveling with children. Great location, next to gas station, restaurants, and highway. Pool was clean. Staff was friendly and checking in/out was fast. Property grounds were well kept, no trash around. We needed a place to shower and sleep, without bugs, and that's exactly what we got. The hotel is nasty and out dated. There was an bad smell like sour or wet carpet everywhere. If I hadn't already prepaid and had a non refundable reservation I would had left. It was tough just to get through the night. The sheets, towels and pillows are all worn completely out. Throbs were tiny and my reservation was for two queen beds but I was in a room with two full beds. It was horrific. The shower head was ancient and the water came out in a war that prevent you from having a good shower. I will say they did have a nice handle in the shower for my 72yr old mom, and the water was hot.
