The condo was clean and comfortable. The balcony was very nice and the access to the roof was a plus. It was very hot, so we didn’t really use the hot tub too much. We really enjoyed fishing on the sound as well as swimming in the multiple pools and the lazy river. Access to the beach did require a few elevator rides and a walk, but it wasn’t too bad. Having a beach set-up was a big plus. The location was great. Close to Destin, but far enough to avoid the massive crowds. There are some great beachfront restaurants right across the street and the pier is within walking distance. We thought we would be driving into Destin a few times, but only went once to do a fishing charter. Turns out we didn’t even need to do that because there are Charters right next door to this resort. The pools & property was well maintained. Our unit was spacious & decorated beautifully. Shelley provided a portable AC unit which was used in the master bedroom. The location and view were amazing. I really enjoyed watching the dolphins play in the bay right in front of the condo in the mornings. It was so peaceful. The stay was great up until the few hours after we checked out. I received an email from the host upset and claiming that we left a dirty diaper and hangers under one of the bed. I explained that we didn’t have anyone in diapers nor did we use any hangers during our trip. We conversed back and forth a bit regarding the issue and she was able to finally determine it was a housekeeping issue and from a previous guest and was then very apologetic. It was a bummer this happened and put a little damper on the whole experience but I was relieved that she realized it wasn’t us who left the mess under the bed. ##### Kristy I.
