Come and stay in this magical island oasis with heated saltwater enclosed pool, just steps away from the protected beaches of the Gulf Islands National Seashore in Perdido Key! This charming home in the Herons Walk neighborhood is full of character and will transport you to a place where serenity and nature abound. Enjoy warm island breezes from your wraparound front porch or cool off in the saltwater pool after a day at the beach. This wonderful floor plan has over 2,400 sq ft. of living space with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms all on one level. The house will accommodate up to 12 guests. Please note the twins in the master bedroom and living area are suitable for children only. For the little ones we also have a high chair and pack n play. As you step inside, you will be greeted by an abundance of natural light, high ceilings, and hardwood floors which give this home a southern coastal feel. The large living room includes a sofa, 2 club chairs, and two fold out chairs (twin size) for sleeping small children. The open kitchen offers plenty of cabinetry and counter space plus a large island with breakfast bar with seating for 6\. There is also a dining room table that seats 8+. The split floor plan situates the master bedroom and a larger guest bedroom away from the others for added privacy. The Master suite includes a king size bed with a sitting area with desk and chair, a twin futon and features high ceilings, double walk-in closets and extra windows to allow plenty of natural light. The master bath has double split vanities, separate shower, and large tub. Just down the hall from the master is an extra-large laundry room and 2 more guest bedrooms with a shared Jack and Jill bathroom. The fourth bedroom is on the other side of the house with access to a full bathroom off the hallway. Take the interior stairs to the lower level and the garage, where you will find 8 bikes to explore Johnson Beach and the surrounding areas. There is an additional full size refrigerated for cold drinks by the pool and folding beach chairs to use at the local beaches. Exit the garage and out to the screened and covered lanai where a beautiful saltwater pool awaits...the perfect spot to BBQ and relax! There are lounging areas, BBQ grill, and dining tables for your enjoyment. This rental includes access to Free Fun with Xplorie! We help make the most of your vacation by providing Free Admission to some of the area’s top attractions each and every day of your stay—including the Lost Key, Soldiers Creek, and Glenlakes Golf Clubs, Tropical Falls Theme Park at OWA, Dolphin, Sunset and Nature Cruises! Upon arrival, we noticed the pool light had exposed wires. When I raised the concern, the host told us it was fine as long as the kids didn’t touch the metal—completely unacceptable. Other issues followed: the front door was difficult to lock, a bathroom door wouldn’t close, and the stove stopped working on our second night.When I reported the stove, I was met with attitude. I followed up by email listing multiple issues and received only defensive, accusatory responses—no apology or accountability. A showerhead also fell off and hit our daughter, and the hosts still showed no concern.The worst part: we were assured the pool light breaker was off and the pool was safe. That night, we discovered the pool light was still on—meaning our kids were swimming near exposed, live wires. When I informed the host, his only response was to tell us to leave the next day—no apology, no responsibility.We are respectful renters and understand that things happen, but the hosts’ lack of concern for safety and their rude, condescending behavior made this stay unacceptable. We enjoyed the screened in pool area and we had plenty of room to sleep between the 12 of us. It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach but the hosts had plenty of games, chairs, and wagons to help make the trip easier. There are a couple of restaurants and grocery stores nearby for quick stops, but we cooked at the house all weekend and had no issues with any of the appliances. We also used one of the discounts through the property management company for golf nearby which was a nice addition. Overall would stay here again! ##### Brandon C. We stayed at this property for 6 days, and we had a great time!!! Everything about the property was as described and more. Everything was clean. The beach was just a few minutes away; we rode the bicycles there every day. We also had a truck that we hauled all of our beach stuff in. My advice is to go to the beach that is left of the property. It is 25 per vehicle for 7 days, and the beach is well worth it. Very beautiful and not crowded at all. Back to the property… the pool was nice, they had many toys for our kids to play with while swimming. The house is very spacious as are all the rooms. There are also lots of toys and games for the kids. Our toddler had a blast and we played games with our kids every night. We had a small issue with the dish washer; so, I called the repair man that was listed on the email, and he was there in less than 10 minutes to fix it. It was amazing service. Check in was great and easy. They replied to our messages quickly. The house was stocked with everything and lots of extras. The beach is a short walk and we walked out each morning. Best place we’ve ever stayed at by far. The pictures don’t do it justice for how beautiful this home and the location was. So convenient to walk our 6 kids to the beach, bike rides for ice cream, close proximity to restaurants but yet the neighborhood is tucked away from the busy noise. The home has everything you need and more!! Plenty of bikes for everyone, plenty of beach chairs and all thing needed for the beach was amazing!! Also worth mentioning is the private pool attached to the house was one of our family’s favorite things after a long day at the beach. We cooked meals everyday and the kitchen comes fully stocked with all you need from dishes, to utensils, plenty of pots and pans etc. The property managers were very friendly and helpful!! The property offered plenty of space and amenities for our party of five plus pups, and the great location made it easy for us to visit with our family in Pensacola. Dan & Patty were great to work with and very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed our visit so much that extended our stay for a few more days, and we look forward to returning again soon.
