We got in late because of our flights and our room was disgusting. Bleach stains all over the quilt on the bed, dirty sheets, dust all over the ceiling fan, a layer of grease on the top of the fridge. It was so gross, we had to rent another hotel room. Called their emergency number and they had no other rooms available. The next day I called when they opened and could not get ahold of a manager until after 1pm. When I did she told me they had another room we could look at. Went to the other room and there was MOLD on the ceiling and smelled like mildew. This was after they denied a refund, when we did not even stay the first night and paid $150 for a night at another hotel. I had to fight for a refund all day and I guess the representative at the desk could not call the property owner? So we wasted an entire day of our honey fighting to get back the $1400 we spent for a "nice" hotel. After hours of calling my bank to dispute the charge as fraud, calling expedia (also no help) we got a refund minus $150 cancellation fee, which we should not of been charged. The beach staff renting chairs & umbrellas were awesome! Enjoyed the lazy river. Only real problem was the uncomfortable bed. It was ok, but should have been nicer. Close to the boardwalk & pier. Elevators seem to break down often, but were repaired quickly.
