Nasty hotel

Posted 19-Jun-2017
Although the hotel is on the beach I wouldn't recommend it. When we checked in and looked at the room we found 2 huge hair balls in the shower. We immediately went to the front desk to asked for the room to be recleaned. All they did was walk in and pick up the hair balls. They didn't go through and use cleaner or anything like we requested. They also didn't offer anything else for the inconvenience either. We will NEVER be staying here again.

Quite and good place to stay

Near the beach ...and only a short walk to be on the beach, it was raining once a day during our stay but it turn out not too hot for all of us to enjoy the rest of the day. Would return to stay again.

Worst hotel ever

Posted 29-May-2017
I stayed in the days inn beachfront Memorial Day weekend and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I got double charged for one night and the assistant manager tried to tell me that I owed almost 400 dollars more due to "taxes". He was also rude and not helpful. It took them four tries to get the price correct and stated "we probably have done this to other too unfortunately" as a response to my comment about how I was glad I checked the accuracy of their charge. The general manager was not any better. They did absolutely nothing to assure me that this issue would be resolved so I have to watch my account now. The house keeping staff acted like it was the end of the world to change my sheets. The breakfast was cold, if they even had any. This was BY FAR the WORST hotel ever and would not recommend this to someone I hated.

Nice, showers outside to rinse sand from shoes.

Posted 27-May-2017
Pros: The beds, and breakfast was great! Parking not a problem. Liked that they had outdoor showers to rinse sand from feet.
Cons: Its outdated but I was expecting it to be.
Location: Located between two resorts, its small in comparison. Great to walk to restaurants and can also catch trolley.
Everything was as good as can expect from older hotel. Really enjoyed stay. Breakfast was great and filling. Coffee excellant! And the beds were to die for, didnt want to get out of them they were so comfortable. Everyone was nice. Parking was not a problem. Able to walk to restaurants or catch trolley. Was little ways from beachfront behind dunes but most everything is out there since hurrican Ivan. All hotels have been moved back. Would definetly stay there again. Gave it a three because of it being older and no private balconies. We're use to staying in one of the resorts so this was alittle different. overall though it was great for the money.

I would have paid a little more to get a cleaner room. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was just ok. The linens were like sandpaper on my skin. So thin you could see right through them. Beds were very comfortable. No bed bugs

Beachfront hotel

Our room faced the breezeway and the beach was just to the left. 20 yards or so away from sugary sand beach. Loved the city and restaurants within walking distance.

Very close to beach, shopping and restaurants.

This hotel, although not a high rise, has everything you need for a short stay at the beach!

Not very nice for the price

Posted 28-Apr-2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything, clean the place where it does not smell, do something about the rust covered doors.
Location: Pensacola Beach is great, just not this hotel.
Rooms are very misleading on the website, they are old and musty smelling. This is a older hotel and not in that great of shape. We stay next door at the Hampton 100 times better.
