It is set to a motion sensor timer for a certain distance and do apologize if the range was causing the sensor to turn the light on or off. We do apologize for the inconvenience. It is a rare occurrence when a room type will sell out between the time it is booked and it populates in our reservation system. The staff member was truly just trying to offer the bigger room with two beds only as a means of accommodating you. Please be assured, it was in no way an effort not to refund you. Since, you had decided you did not want the alternate room, he did inform Expedia that it was your wish to cancel. Since it was a prepaid online booking, Expedia would be the party to process the refund. I have noted that the booking was cancelled on Expedia's part and they will be refunding you fully.Again, I do apologize for the convenience and I do hope you give us another chance to show we can provide a satisfactory experience.
