Amenities include the one and only Purple Parrot Tiki Bar, a lagoon style pool, a hot tub, an indoor heated pool, a fitness center, outdoor charcoal grills, and beach volleyball courts. There is something for everyone! PKRM proudly offers complimentary excursions like deep sea fishing, a dolphin cruise, a sunset cruise, golf and admission to OWA Amusement Park. These Perdido Keys 2 Fun adventures are available 1 per day thru the Xplorie app, once your reservation is booked. If you prefer to hang out at the resort, you will find that the interior is well appointed. The living room is welcoming and furnished with a wall-mounted 43 inch flat-screen television, free Wi-Fi connection and a sleeper sofa for 2 additional guests. The Master suite offers a great night's sleep with a comfortable King sized bed, a flat-screen television, a private, full bathroom and a veranda. The guest bedroom offers 2 Queen size beds for 4 additional guests. The modern kitchen has been fully equipped to cook a gourmet meal and the dining table has seating for six. This vacation home will accommodate a group of up to 8 people including all adults and all children. Of course, Turner Key offers a screened porch aka a screened perch at this particular resort! A great place to enjoy your morning coffee or a beverage of choice while you hurry up and slow down at Purple Parrot! \~ The Purple Parrot Tiki Bar & Grill will be closing seasonally this year for the cooler months and will not reopen until February 1, 2026\. That being said we had issues with the a/c unit all week. The owners of the property had it locked and on a timer. Each day when we would leave it was on 70 degrees (where the lock was) and when we return it would be 76 degrees downstairs and 84 plus degrees in the bedrooms upstairs. This house only one unit for the whole house. So it was impossible to get any sleep at night because it was hot. There were also some minor cleaning issues-sand in the beds, bathroom counters not wiped down, etc. But the air was a problem. We contacted management and they sent an a/c repair out twice but we were told he couldn't do anything about the lock without a passcode, which nobody seemed to have. This problem caused us to leave a day early because we couldn't handle it anymore. ##### Angela G. It is the cleanest one we've stayed in at the Purple Parrot (we've stayed in 2 others besdides this one). It had everything we needed. The couch is nice and comfy. The bathroom in the master is awesome, and has double shower heads, which is nice. The condo itself is set back a bit, which gives a bit of privacy. The porch is also very nice and has a porch swing and fans. The one and only thing that i didnt love was the bed in the master bedroom. It wasn't uncomfortable, but it's kinda weird. It feels like a king-size cot. When I first got in, it felt like it was going to close up on me. It didn't, of course, but that's what i thought at first. After you get used to that, it's pretty comfy. The refrigerator in the kitchen has an ice maker, which is a nice extra, and there is also a Keurig coffe machine, which most condo do not have. The pool and tiki bar with live music are AWESOME and they are why we go to the Purple Parrot every year. If you're trying to decide which condo to stay in, stay here. I have 2 boys (ages 11 & 13) and they loved being steps away from the pool. We enjoyed the 4th of July party at the Purple Parrot and then watching fireworks on the beach! The house is great with everything you need. The house was still a bit dirty when we arrived (sticky stuff on floor, chips under table, hair in master bath drains) but I cleaned it and let the property manager know.
