This beautifully appointed 6-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom home offers sweeping Gulf views from the front porch and even more breathtaking vistas from the crow’s nest, where you can see all the way to Destin. In the backyard, enjoy a large private pool with lounge seating, or step out the back gate to Cowley Park—home to a track, grassy field, tennis courts, basketball court, and a playground for the kids.  
  
Inside, the open concept living, kitchen, and dining areas are designed with large groups in mind. The kitchen features a chef’s gourmet kitchen, with high end appliances and a massive size island with seating for 10–12, and the dining table comfortably seats 15\. The living room offers two separate sitting areas, one with a 60-inch flat-screen TV and the other perfect for reading or board games. Each of the six bedrooms includes a private bathroom and a 40-inch flat-screen TV, making it easy for guests to unwind in comfort. The ground level includes ample parking and shaded gathering space, while elevator access is available for an additional fee (waived for elderly or disabled guests). Whether you're planning a family reunion, group getaway, or small event, The Great Escape delivers space, comfort, and unbeatable location.

Perfect for a large group! Very clean! Plenty of room for everyone. Lots of seating, large kitchen, gorgeous views! We paid to heat the pool & it was very warm. Worth the extra money if you are visiting during the cooler months.

We had 5 couples all in our 50’s and the setup of the house was perfect! We all had our own bathroom in our bedrooms and even an extra half bath. We loved the openness of the kitchen, dining and living room. The beach entrance was right across the street so very easy walk packing all our stuff. Great experience!

#### Army/Navy Beach Stay

Sweet place with plenty of bedrooms/beds. Loved the openness of the kitchen/dining/living rooms, too! Great outdoor spaces as well, with spectacular views of the Gulf! Pool was used daily, so having it heated was a must. Only thing lacking were some basics such as coffee/filters, dishwasher soap, and laundry detergent. Also, better instructions on how to lock the doors.

#### Excellent house for larger families! Great location!

We rented The Great Escape for 4 nights. The house was in very good condition and seemed fairly new. Overall was perfect for our large family. Eight adults and eight children. The only negative was the elevator didn’t work at the time and would have helped hauling baby stuff. But it is what it is. Would definitely rent again.

#### A Place With A Space For Everybody

This property was so perfect for our group of 12 (6 couples). Each couple had a private room and bath to retreat to when they wanted privacy or chose to retire. The common area was very spacious and easily accommodated the 12 of us when we chose to eat or do other activities together. We could even have serparate activities going on in the same room without conflict. The pool area was well-maintained and easily accommodated all of us. (I would advise requesting that the pool be heated if you go in October or later.) The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, pots and cooking utensils. All appliances worked as expected; when we had an issue with the TV, Debi sent a maintenance man immediately and when he could not fix the problem, the TV was replaced the next morning. The location of the property was a huge bonus. The beach is literally across the street! I would definitely recommend this property, especially for large groups.

The house was spacious and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked although a few basic spices would have been nice. The pool had a deep tiered shelf in the shallow end that was great for infants and toddlers. Each bedroom had its own bath which worked very well for each family/couple. Our family of 12 adults and four children under 5 raved about the space, large porch, and short distance to the beach. We would definitely stay in this house again!

Everything about the home was perfect except for the lack of towel bars in the bathrooms. 6 bathrooms with no place to hang towels didn't make sense to us. Front door sticks and makes it very difficult for people to open and close, especially children. Air conditioner is leaking outside and could cause problems with wood rotting in the support system below. We loved the house and are just offering these observations for the owners.

#### Excellent Beach Home!

Our large extended family loved this property. The pool was amazing-especially the tanning ledge for small children. There is excellent proximity to the beach as described and we had 4 children under 5 years of age. The breeze and views at night were wonderful. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is a beach closet loaded with everything imaginable. My only suggestion would be adding room darkening shades. The blinds are transparent which made sleeping past dawn with small children tricky. Otherwise, perfect!

#### Family vaca at the beach

This beach house was perfect for our large family. Each bedroom has their own bathroom, the kitchen island was incredible, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need during your stay for cooking and entertaining and the extra refrigerator and wine cooler fridge was great! There is a beach/pool closet downstairs for your beach and pool necessities…a few beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, beach wagon…all beach umbrellas were broke though. The pool was a big hit with the kids too! Plenty of parking and just a few steps away from the beach. The beach is by far the cleanest beach we have seen. Never crowded and just beautiful! Few minute drive to restaurants, bars and entertainment. My only suggestion is to put towel hooks or towel bars in the bathrooms because we had no where to hang towels, wet bathing suits, or travel bags. We will definitely be going back!!

#### Great Family Getaway

Lucky Thirteen of us made this property our family home for seven days in early March, with our adult kids and their young children. We thoroughly enjoyed our time! This single-level house is comfortably furnished and offers plenty of space with six sizeable bedrooms, each with a full ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with two ovens and plenty of pantry and counter space for multiple chefs at the same time. The additional refrigerator nearby in the laundry room also came in handy. The gathering spaces, indoor and out, are large and provided ideal space for everyone to eat, relax and spend time together. The huge front deck was a favorite place to hang out, enjoy the breeze and gulf view, and it gave the grandchildren lots of room to play safely. The crow’s nest was a perfect spot for retreat or to watch some beautiful sunsets. There was plenty of parking under and in front of the house. The house is located steps from the beach with a sandy access path directly across the street. As this section of the island is primarily residences and rental homes, the beaches were never crowded. The family also enjoyed the safety-gated pool and fenced grounds in the back of the property – we did opt to have the pool heater turned on as the evenings were cool. The property management company was efficient and very timely in answering the few questions we had and the check-in and out process was seamless. The property was clean and well maintained and we appreciated having access to the elevator for hauling luggage and groceries up to the main level. Pensacola Beach is a hidden gem, having, in our opinion, the most beautiful beaches and coastline in the US. There are many good restaurants and entertaining bars in the area, and a major grocery store nearby in Gulf Breeze. We visited in early March, just before Spring Break and were blessed with warm temperatures and no rain! We will definitely be back to Pensacola Beach and highly recommend this property for any large family gatherings.

The views from not only the 2nd floor balcony but from the front bedrooms were awesome. Waking up to the sun gleaming off of the gulf was a real treat. The home is excellent - bedrooms were large and you didn't feel cramped. Great place to stay - we plan to go back.

This was our first time visiting Pensacola as a group and it did not disappoint. The house, location, and easy walk to the beach was absolutely perfect! The elevator made carrying luggage easy. The pool was great to relax in after a long day at the beach. Honestly, I could go on and on...we look forward to returning with our children in the future to enjoy this house once more!

#### Beach house beautiful

The house is gorgeous and spacious. Close to beach and water views . We had a group of 15 and we did not feel crowded whatsoever. kitchen and bar stocked with everything needed to cook and make drinks. I would give place a 5 but there were a few issues. The bbq grill was very small and half of the burners worked sporadically, which made grilling for 15 hungry people difficult. The pool was not heated, it was an extra charge per day. The Wi-Fi was not great and normally not a problem because we’re at the beach, except it was cold and rainy a few days. There is a sound ordinance which means no louder than conversation after 10, pm no music no hanging outside or the lady across the street wil call sheriff. I respect that it’s a very nice residential area but also mostly beach rentals and we are on vacation at the beach which means 15 people outside on deck is going to violate sound ordinance. This strictly enforced and the sheriff drives up and down street every 15-30 minutes. You also have to provide toilet paper and paper towels. I felt like for $8500 for the week the grill, heated pool and toilet paper should be included. Overall it is very beautiful lovely home near the beach, management was very helpful, check in/check out was very easy.

#### Wow! This house was INCREDIBLE!!!

This house was THE BEST rental I have every occupied, and it made our stay in Pensacola even better! The owner and property manager were both super friendly. The house was immaculate, and everything inside is high-end and gorgeous. This house was brand new when we stayed (I believe we were the 3rd party to every stay there), and we had NO issues at all with any of the amenities. We had 20 adults staying in the house, but it definitely did not feel like it! We all had plenty of room with all the beds and seating areas, both inside and out. We spent every morning sitting on the patio furniture on the huge wrap-around balcony drinking coffee and eating breakfast. We used the huge gas grill downstairs to make burgers by the pool one day, and we were right across the street from Gulf. All in all--beautiful house, incredible views, and GREAT trip!
