Perfectly positioned for exploring the Pennines, Hadrians Wall and the Lake District. The cottage is ideal for families and couples alike. Completely refurbished in 2020 it is clean, cosy and inviting. Full of bespoke and antique items of furniture and paintings, it really is a unique place. We were a little hesitant about the location being a little further out of the main lake district, but this was not an issue at all. Approx. 30 minutes from Keswick, Hadrians Wall and Carlisle. In fact, being located outside of the main tourism areas was a bonus. The property is in a quiet, rural location and was a home from home. A co-op was 5 mins (if that!) by car and Penrith, the nearest town, also had supermarkets. The accommodation is as described and as the photo's show. It was very clean and had all the amenities needed. The welcome gift was very unexpected and a lovely touch!! Colette was great and helped with any queries we had.
