Ground Floor: Living room: Freeview Smart TV Kitchen/dining room: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washer Dryer Bedroom 1: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet First Floor: Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Bedroom 3: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Bedroom 4: 3 x Bunk (3ft) Beds Bathroom: Bath, Double Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. Back garden with courtyard and garden furniture. 2 small dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. Herdwick House is a modern barn conversion, recently finished in 2023 and part of the already popular Lowside Farm in the North Lakes near Keswick, already housing six very popular micro-lodges, the owners have now converted two of their barns. Herdwick House is a four bedroom house offering sleeping up to twelve guests with two bathrooms, one on each floor with a large open plan kitchen/diner and separate living room. Herdwick House is in the shadow of one of the highest and most impressive fells in The Lake District National Park, Blencathra, perched on the lower slopes of Blencathra you’ll benefit from some great walking and cycling routes and amazing panoramic views across the countryside. Lowside Farm is situated just off the A66 which is the main route that cuts through Cumbria, from Penrith in the east and continuing to the west coast. There is easy access to all of the Northern Lake District Fells and much of the stunning scenery this part of the world has to offer. The popular town of Keswick is just 6½ miles away with an abundance of bars, shops, restaurants and nightlife as well as some great tourist attractions and a local market. Pub and restaurant ¾ mile. Herdwick House (ref UK42805) can be booked together with Tarn Cottage (ref UK42803) to accommodate up to 16 guests. Free WiFi The property is located on a working farm. Small dog/s only allowed.
