The main road is busy, but the backyard is private and large. We were able to take advantage of the picnic area with fire pit, which is at the end of a woodsy path. Acadia is a bit of a drive, but there are are also plenty of things to do closer by. The beds are very comfortable. It was clean, with a well stocked kitchen and nice quality, yet comfortable furniture. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the light coming in the windows at 5am due to very shear or no curtains. We really enjoyed watching the sunset at the far end of the property near the water. It was very quiet and peaceful. We used the grill once, and it was in good condition. A nice touch was that the owners provided a very helpful notebook full of maps and restaurant suggestions.
